This brass statue of a cow and a calf is meant for decorating your home in Hindu way. Artisans of Muradabad in north India have crafted this statue using age-old sand casting technique. The cow was possibly revered because Hindus relied heavily on it for dairy products and for tilling the fields, and on cow dungs a source of fuel and fertilizer. Thus, the cow's status as a 'caretaker' led to identifying it as an almost maternal figure (hence the term gau mata). In the olden days cattle being limited to select few fortunate folks, the cows enjoyed the status that gold or money enjoys today. Krishna, one of the incarnations of god in Hindu mythology (Avatar), tended cows. The cow and bull represent the symbol of Dharma. Reverence for cows and bulls is in the major texts of the Vedic religion.
According to the ancient scriptures Lord Shiva is called Destroyer. It is a part of Hindu harmony of Gods and also called the God of Regeneration. The Shiva parivar includes Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati (symbol of Shati) and their son - Lord Ganesha (who is the first God to be worshipped and blesses his worshiper with knowledge, good luck and wealth).
It is the Idol in which Goddess Lakshmi is seated on a magnificently crafted lotus and represents prosperity and wealth. Lord Ganesha is also known as Ganapati, Vigneswara, Vinayaka, Gajamukha and Ainkaran who eradicate all blockages and marks the opening of every auspicious occasion. Ganesha is worshipped for siddhi, success in all fields, buddhi, and intelligence. This Lakshmi Ganesha idol is put together and is the ideal for Diwali pooja.
Lord Ganesha is respected as the son of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Only Lord Ganesha is always worshiping first than others God in worship services and rituals. Lord Ganesha is also the God of education, knowledge and wisdom, writing, and the fine arts. Parad Ganesha symbolizes the power that removes blockage and guarantee success in all fields. Parad Ganesha passes on peace and prosperity to worshipers. Lord Ganesha idol is essential for "Siddhi" (rational and religious power) and "Riddhi" (material wealth).
Goddess Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity. All the auspicious elements of nature are associated with her.
