DCO can be converted to dehydrated castor fatty acid by hydrolysis or saponification and distillation. This (dehydrated astor fatty acid) is used in the manufacture of alkyl resins, coatings, appliance finishes, primers and inks.

  12. Turkey red oil (sulphated castor oil):

Turkey red oil, also called sulphonated (or sulfated) castor oil, is made by adding sulfuric acid in castor oil. It was the first synthetic detergent after ordinary soap.Turkey Red oil is used in dyeing, printing and finishing textiles to obtain bright, clear colours in fabrics and in finishing of cotton and linen. Also used in formulating lubricants, softeners, and dyeing assistants.

  • Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the Castor plant “Ricinus communis” The common name "castor oil" probably comes from its use as a replacement for castoreum, a perfume base made from the dried perineal glands of the beaver “castor in Latin” Castor oil and its derivatives are used in the manufacturing of soaps, lubricants, hydraulic and brake fluids, paints, dyes, coatings, inks, cold resistant plastics, waxes and polishes, nylon, pharmaceuticals and perfumes.

  • Castor oil is a colorless to very pale yellow liquid with mild or no odor or taste. Its boiling point is 313 °C 595 °F and its density is 961 kg/m3. It is a triglyceride in which approximately 90 percent of fatty acid chains are ricinoleate. Oleate and linoleates are the other significant components.

  • Vegetable oils, due to their good lubricity and biodegradability are attractive alternatives to petroleum-derived lubricants, but oxidative stability and low temperature performance limit their widespread use. Castor oil has better low temperature viscosity properties and high temperature lubrication than most vegetable oils, making it useful as a lubricant in jet, diesel, and race car engines.

  • Castor oil is the raw material for the production of a number of chemicals, notably sebacic acid, undecylenic acid, and nylon-11. A review listing numerous chemicals derived from castor oil is available. The production of lithium grease consumes a significant amount of castor oil. Hydrogenation and saponification of castor oil yields 12-hydroxystearic acid which is then reacted with lithium hydroxide or lithium carbonate to give high performance lubricant grease.

  • Castor Oil has many skin benefits it keeps the skin healthy and young looking through its seemingly endless medicinal actions. It is not a surprise then Castor Oil is also used for the prevention, treatment and healing of acne as well as minimizing acne scars. The use of this oil from castor beans has been widely used throughout centuries and is a truly safe and cheap means of ensuring acne.

Dry Ginger

  • Dried ginger is nothing but fresh ginger which undergoes a drying process before being used. The fresh rhizomes are soaked in water overnight after which the outer peel is carefully removed using a knife or a peeler. They are washed again and then sun dried on mats or barbecues for around a week. During this period, they are turned periodically. The end result is a pale white dried ginger. Guar Gum

  • India is native of guar or cluster bean where it is used as a vegetable. From hundreds of years Guar has been used as vegetable in India. It is also used as a cattle food, and as a green manure crop in agriculture. Guar gum comes from the endosperm of the seed of the legume plant Cyamopsis tetragonoloba; an annual plant, grown in dry regions of India as a food crop for animals.

  • There are various grades of Guar gums pure or derivative. Guar gum is a white to creamy colored, free flowing powder and free from extraneous matter. Its ability to suspend solids, bind water by hydrogen bonding, control the viscosity of aqueous solutions, form strong tough films have accounted for its rapid growth and use in various industries. For example guar gum is used in paper, textile, oil drilling, mining, explosives, ore flotation and other various industrial applications.

  • The growing season of guar is 14 -16 weeks and requires reasonably warm weather and moderate flashing rainfall with plenty of sunshine. Too much rain can cause the plant to become more 'leafy' resulting thereby reducing the number of pods or the number of seeds per pod which affects the size and yield of seeds.

  • The crop is generally sown after the monsoon rainfall in the second half of July to early August and is harvested in late October early November. The Guar is a naturally rain fed crop. Depending on the monsoon rainfall the total size of Guar crop varies from year to year. After harvesting, when the pods become dry through sunlight, they are beaten off and during this process, the seeds come out of the pods.

  • This polymer is water soluble and exhibits a viscosifying effect in water. Guar gum has a multitude of different applications.

  • Guar gum is economical because it has almost eight times the water-thickening potency of cornstarch - only a very small quantity is needed for producing sufficient viscosity. Thus, it can be used in various multiphase formulations: as an emulsifier because it helps to prevent oil droplets from coalescing, and/or as a stabilizer because it helps to prevent solid particles from settling.

  • In several food and beverages guar gum is used as additive in order to change its viscosity or as fiber source. The main area of cultivation of GUAR GUM in India are Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh , Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh.

  • We supplies in many types and varieties Hydroxy Alkylated Guar gum, Carboxy Methylated Guar gum , Oxidised Guar gum, Acetates of Guar gum, Cationic derivatives of Guar gum, Sulphated Guar gum, Guar gum formate, Guar gum acryl amide, Reticulated Guar gum.

Coriander

  • Coriander is considered both an herb and a spice since both its leaves and its seeds are used as a seasoning condiment. Fresh coriander leaves are more commonly known as cilantro and bear a strong resemblance to Italian flat leaf parsley. This is not surprising owing to the fact that they belong to the same plant family.

  • The fruit of the coriander plant contains two seeds which, when dried, are the parts that are used as the dried spice. When ripe, the seeds are yellowish-brown in color with longitudinal ridges. They have a fragrant flavor that is reminiscent of both citrus peel and sage. Coriander seeds are available in whole or ground powder form.

  • The name coriander is derived from the Greek word koris, which means bug. It may have earned this name because of the "buggy" offensive smell that it has when unripe. The Latin name for coriander is Coriandrum sativum.

Raisins

  • Raisins are made from dehydrating grapes in a process that either involves the heat of the sun or a mechanical process of oven drying. Among the most popular types of raisins are Sultana, Malaga, Monukka, Zante Currant, Muscat and Thompson seedless. The size of small pebbles, raisins have wrinkled skins surrounding chewy flesh that tastes like a burst of sugary sweetness. While the colors of raisins vary, they are generally a deep brown color, oftentimes with hints of a purple hue.

  • When most fruits are dried, they keep their same name, but not the grape. The dried form of the grape, revered throughout history, has its own unique name: the raisin. You don't have to be a backpacker or hiker to appreciate raisins as a convenient, high energy low fat snack; they are easy to pack, easy to eat and almost never go bad. Like other dried fruits, raisins are available throughout the year.

  • Raisins have been the object of phytonutrient research primarily for their unique phenol content, but these delicious dried grapes are also one of the top sources of the trace mineral, boron, in the U.S. diet. Raisins are a good source of copper, as well as one of the richest sources of the mineral boron. They also provide concentrated amounts of polyphenolic phytonutrients.

Base Oil

  • Base Oil is the name given to lubrication grade oils initially produced from refining crude oil (mineral base oil) or through chemical synthesis (synthetic base oil). Base oil is typically defined as oil with a boiling point range between 550 and 1050 F, consisting of hydrocarbons with 18 to 40 carbon atoms. This oil can be either paraffinic or naphthenic in nature depending on the chemical structure of the molecules.

  • Lubricant base oils are produced in a series of steps, which are designed to enhance certain desirable properties. These include viscosity index, oxidation resistance, thermal stability and low temperature.

  • Almost every lubricant used in plants today started off as just a base oil. The American Petroleum Institute (API) has categorized base oils into five categories (API 1509, Appendix E). The first three groups are refined from petroleum crude oil. Group IV base oils are full synthetic (polyalphaolefin) oils. Group V is for all other base oils not included in Groups I through IV. Before all the additives are added to the mixture, lubricating oils begin as one or more of these five API groups.

  • Group I base stocks contain less than 90 percent saturates and/or greater than .03 percent sulfur and have viscosity greater than or equal to 80 and less than 120.

  • Group II base stocks contain greater than or equal to 90 percent saturates and less than or equal to .03 percent sulfur and have viscosity index greater than or equal to 80 and less than 120.Group III base stocks contain greater than or equal to 90 percent saturates and less than or equal to .03 percent sulfur and have viscosity index greater than or equal to 120. base stocks are polyalphaolefins (PAO).Group V base stocks include all other base stocks not included in Group I, II, III, IV.

  • A recent study on the use of base oil in todays plants in comparison to a little more than a decade ago found a dramatic change has occurred. Bitumen

  • Bitumen is a mixture of Organic Liquids that are highly Viscous, Black, Sticky, Entirely Soluble in Carbon Disulfide, and composed primarily of highly condensed Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons.

  • Naturally occurring or crude bitumen is a sticky, tar-like form of petroleum which is so thick and heavy that it must be heated or diluted before it will flow. At room temperature, it is much like cold molasses. Refined Bitumen is the residual (bottom) fraction obtained by fractional distillation of crude oil. It is the heaviest fraction and the one with the highest boiling point, boiling at 525 C (977 F).

  • Most bitumen contains sulfur and several heavy metals such as Nickel, Vanadium, Lead, Chromium, Mercury and also Arsenic, Selenium, and other Toxic Elements. Bitumen can provide good preservation of plants and animal fossils.

  • In British English, the word 'Asphalt' refers to a mixture of mineral aggregate and bitumen (or tarmac in common parlance). The word 'Tar' refers to the black viscous material obtained from the destructive distillation of coal and is chemically distinct from bitumen. In American English, Bitumen is referred to as 'Asphalt' or 'Asphalt cement' in engineering jargon. In Australian English, Bitumen is sometimes used as the generic term for road surfaces. In Canadian English, the word bitumen is used to refer to the vast Canadian deposits of extremely heavy crude oil, while asphalt is used for the oil refinery product used to pave roads and manufacture roof shingles. Diluted Bitumen (diluted with Naphtha to make it flow in pipelines) is known as dilbit in the Canadian Petroleum industry, while bitumen upgraded to synthetic crude oil is known as syn crude and syn crude blended with bitumen as syn bit.

  • Bitumen is primarily used for paving roads. Its other uses are for Bituminous Waterproofing Products, including the use of bitumen in the production of roofing felt and for sealing flat roofs.

Fuller Earth (Bentonite)

  • Fullers earth consists chiefly of hydrated aluminum silicates that contain metal ions such as magnesium, sodium, and calcium within their structure. Montmorillonite is the principal clay mineral in fullers earth, but other minerals such as kaolinite, attapulgite, and palygorskite also occur and account for its variable chemical composition. Though similar in appearance to clay, fullers earth differs by being more fine-grained and by having higher water content. It also crumbles into mud when mixed with water, so it has little natural plasticity. The substance is found in a wide range of natural colures, from brown or green to yellow and white.

  • fullers earth, any fine-grained, naturally occurring earthy substance that has a substantial ability to adsorb impurities or colouring bodies from fats, grease, or oils. Its name originated with the textile industry, in which textile workers (or fullers) cleaned raw wool by kneading it in a mixture of water and fine earth that adsorbed oil, dirt, and other contaminants from the fibres.

  • Fullers earth is used to refine and decolorize petroleum products, cottonseed and soy oils, tallow, and other fats and oils. Its high adsorptive power also makes it commercially important in the preparation of animal litter trays and assorted degreasing agents and sweeping compounds. Fullers earth usually occurs as a by-product of the decomposition of feldspar or from the slow transformation of volcanic glass into crystalline solids. Major deposits of fullers earth have been found in England, in Japan, and in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, and Texas, U.S.

  • Fullers Earth has been used for a long time to remove impurities from the skin. It is well-tolerated and usually used in cosmetics. When mixed with a little water fullers earth can be made into natural clay face mask to remove oils, blackheads and impurities.

  • Fullers Earth tones up the skin. Improves the complexion. Smoothes out wrinkles. It has a softening and preservation action upon skin of hands and face. Is tender to all skin types. It is very effective in treating oily skin as a deep pore cleanser to draw out hidden oils and grime.

  • Fullers Earth in veterinary practice is usually applied as a poultice in the cure of sore places on horses. Fullers Earth in veterinary practice is usually applied as a poultice in the cure of sore places on horses.

  • Application of Fullers Earth pastes need not, of course, be confined to the face and neck, though in the modern world Fullers Earth is also in vogue for washing hair. If you have oily hair it works like a miracle.

  • Fullers Earth must of course have served from very early times in household cleaning. Many books of household management have countless recipes of Fullers Earth.

Paraffin Wax

  • Paraffin wax, classified as a chemical preservative, is widely used on fruits, vegetables, and candy to make them shiny and pretty as well as to retard moisture loss and spoilage. Waxes are made from vegetable oils, palm oil derivatives, and synthetic resins, as well as other resins, as well as other materials. Some people, notably those who are allergic to aspirin, may be sensitive to many waxes, depending on their ingredients.

  • Paraffin wax is often added to chocolates. The addition of paraffin to the chocolate candy gives it a nice, glossy finish and helps it remain solid at room temperature. Be aware that paraffin is flammable when overheated, so warm it gently in a double-boiler or microwave only to the point where it is melted. Paraffin wax, also sometimes called baker's wax or canning wax, in your grocery store where canning jars and supplies are sold. Paraffin is still commonly used (although not recommended) to seal home-canned jellies and jam. However, some paraffin is not intended to be ingested, such as that sold for candle making, so check the label.

  • Paraffin Wax is produced only from refineries, which have wax production units. There are three types of Paraffin Wax namely Type-1, Type-2 and Type-3. These categories are based on the oil content. Paraffin Wax is produced only at Digboi and CPCL Refineries of Indian Oil.

  • Our paraffin wax in widely used in various sectors like:

Rubber Process Oil

  • Rubber process oils can be broadly classified into three basic groups depending on the physical arrangement of the carbon atoms namely , parafinics , napthenics and aromatics. all petroleum oils are mixtures of various hydrocarbon groups and their classification is arbitrary and is based on the predominance of a particular hydrocarbon group.

  • Rubbers, both synthetic and natural are commercially used to produce products from rubber bands to a toy to the giant tyres for various vehicles including aircrafts. Rubber Process Oils are used during mixing of rubber compounds. These help in improving the dispersion of fillers and flow characteristics of the compound during further processing. IPOL Rubber process oils are specially developed taking into consideration the type of rubber and the end product applications. The range of IPOL Rubber Process Oils is broadly divided in following three catagories.

  • Naphthenic are a class of hydrocarbons also referred to as cycloparaffins. Though their structure is similar to the aromatic ring, these are single bonded thus having a stable structure. Several such hydrocarbon rings may be linked indicating a variety of available grades. Their unique colour stability, solubility and good thermal stability makes them ideal for moulded articles, slippers, LPG tubes, floor tiles, etc.

  • The primary characteristics of aromatic hydrocarbons are the presence of the double bonded mix ring carbon structure. Aromatic extracts procured from selected refineries and suitably blended to meet stringent specifications, are used for compounding batches to manufacture Tyres, calendared and moulded sheets, Tread rubber etc.

  • This class of hydrocarbons constitutes branched chain or straight linked hydrocarbon molecules of various viscosities. As the chain length increases, the viscosity increases and the rubber process oil becomes more viscous. They find extensive usage in EPDM, Butyl rubbers. IPOL grades include Paraffinic oils with high viscosity and high flash point for better shelf life of the end product. The high viscosity and high flash point IPOL paraffinic oils are extensively used in EPDM profiles for automotive applications.

This actually grows in hot climate like India, Sudan, Egypt etc. but Indian Henna is known as best coloring Henna in the world.

  • As you know Henna is being using since 5000 years. It is a perfect 100% natural product It's allergic reactions are very rare, go for allergic test before using the Henna as you do the test for normal cosmetic product. Applying Henna is very simple and painless. It's really work like a jewel on the body.

  • Depending on your body chemistry and skin color, the designs can appear as orange, red, brown, and burgundy. The color of Henna is also based on the strength of Dye-paste mixture and the length of time it is left in place.
Caution:To apply Henna on hair you will need only the Henna powder and several simple-to-gather items that you already have around the house. Avoid using metal bowls or utensils for mixing, as they can react with natural chemicals present in the Henna.

  • Some people love the smell of Henna and other cannot tolerate it. Henna paste has particular smell similar to a barnyard or to damp clay.

  • Henna is a natural pigment in most people will cause no harm. The leaves are cut from the plant, dried and ground into powder. Some commercial Henna products may have added ingredients. Always read the labels. It is best to do a patch test to be sure that your skin is not sensitive to this plant.

  • Traditionally in India Mehandi is applied to a woman''s hands and feet. But on very auspicious occasions men apply henna as well. During an Indian wedding both the bride and bridegroom apply henna. Henna symbolizes fertility. It is also a symbol of love between husband and wife. The bride''s intricate Mehandi pattern normally has the name of the groom interwoven into it. The groom is expected to find his name in the pattern. If he cannot do so, it is said that, the bride will control the marriage. Its use became popular in India because of its cooling effect in the hot Indian summers.

  • Today henna is used to make tattoos on different parts of the body whether it is the arm, the wrist or around the navel. Henna is being used for body art as well. In this form Mehandi has become popular in the west. No doubt the most popular use of henna is to dye hair. As it is a natural dye and the color is beautiful and gives the hair lustrous look. Henna has to be mixed in the right proportion with the right ingredients to get the desired color and effect. There are different ways, designs and patterns that can be used to draw intricately on a woman''s hand. If the color of Mehandi is to last for a long time one has to take proper care of it. There are certain drawbacks of using henna as well. Henna tattooing is the hottest trend to come from the East. Its popularity exploded in 1998 in New York city, and is fast becoming the most sought after, fascinating beauty creations in North America. Many celebrities have been proud to show their henna tattoos in public, on the big screen, and in music videos. India, Pakistan, the Yemen, Morocco, Egypt, Iran and the Sudan are the main growers and exporters of henna. Large quantities of henna are produced at home for the local market, and much smaller quantities sold on the international market. For instance, only half of the sum lak''s metric tones of leaves produced in Sojat city, Rajashtan (India) each year is sold abroad, the rest is consumed within Sojat city, Rajashtan (India).Henna is normally cultivated in rows like small hedges. Two or three crops a year are usually harvested from the plants in April-May, August and October-November. The leaves, flowers and buds are harvested by cutting the shoots off the plant, which may continue to produce a crop for between 6-12 years. One hectare of land can produce 1, 000-1, 500 kg of leaves.

Amla

    • Amla (or Amlaka or Amlaki) is one of the most common ancient Ayurvedic medicines, commonly used to treat a variety of disorders related to the digestive system, the lungs, metabolism, bleeding and even aging.

    • Most sites that sell Amla products describe the fruit's rich content of vitamin C, The fruit contains the highest amount of Vitamin C in natural form which is often said to be responsible for several of the therapeutic actions of the fruit. They are wrong and have not really done their research and are just repeating (or copying verbatim) incorrect information that was put out almost 50 years ago.

In fact, it has been shown that Amla does not contain any significant amount of vitamin C, but instead other organic acids (such as malic acid and mucic acid) and various common tannoids (small tannin-like molecules) and some unique tannins, one or more of which were mistaken for vitamin C in the initial tests conducted more than 50 years ago. Even so, at the levels described (at about 0.5-0.7% of the fruit pulp), the amount of vitamin C consumed would be small by modern standards.

  • The dominant active constituent of Amla is a group of tannins derived from gallic and ellagic acids, which make up a large portion of the extractable constituents and from other polyphenols. The fruit also contains flavonoids and kaempferol. The presence of a large proportion of tannins, the other polyphenols and flavanoids in the fruit easily explains many of the reported benefits of Amla, including treatment of respiratory and intestinal disorders, particularly intestinal ulcerations. In addition, polyphenols have been shown to have numerous health protective benefits, including lowering blood lipids and blood sugar, enhancing blood circulation, and blocking the action of carcinogens, which together contribute to the antiaging effect. The apparent superior effect of the mistaken "vitamin C" component is actually the more stable and potent anti-oxidant effect of the tannins, the other polyphenols and flavanoids in the Amla.

  • A compilation of applications for emblica fruits was carried out by several Ayurvedic writers during the last 25 years. The main applications are for:Digestive system disorders: dyspepsia, gastritis, hyperacidity, constipation, colic, colitis, hemorrhoidsBleeding disorders: bleeding hemorrhoids, hematuria, menorrhagia, bleeding gums, ulcerative colitisMetabolic disorders: anemia, diabetes, goutLung disorders: cough, asthmaAging disorders: osteoporosis, premature graying of the hair, weakening visionNeurasthenia: fatigue, mental disorders, vertigo, palpitations

  • Amla has recently undergone preliminary scientific research, demonstrating invitro antiviral and antimicrobial properties. Experimental preparations have shown potential efficacy against laboratory models of disease, such as for inflammation, cancer, age-related renal disease, and diabetes. A human pilot study demonstrated reduction of blood cholesterol levels in both normal and hypercholesterolemic men.

  • Amla is also a very fibrous fruit and these fibers are captured in our Organic Amla powder.

  • Our Organic Amla Powder which has a somewhat spicy taste blends well with soups, salads, sauces, gravies, meat and vegetable pies, rices, pastas, flours, spicy foods, pasta shell fillings and can be added to a variety of recipes. 2 tsps per day is the suggested use of the powder.

  • Amla is the fruit of Phyllanthus emblica, also called Emblica officinalis. The plant, a member of the Euphorbiaceae, grows to become a medium-sized tree that is found growing in the plains and sub-mountain regions all over the Indian subcontinent from sea level to the foothills of the Himalayan mountains. The fruit is similar in appearance to the common gooseberry (Ribes spp., a type of currant), which is botanically unrelated to Amla. However, due to the similar appearance of the fruit clusters, Amla is usually called the "Indian gooseberry."

  • Emblica fruits are one of three "myrobalans, " a term deriving from Greek for the acorn, which is a well-known astringent used in tanning. In fact, both emblic myrobalans and chebulic myrobalans (Terminalia chebula) are relied upon for their high content of tannins; chebulic myrobalans have long been used for tanning leather; the emblica twig bark and immature fruits are used for tanning. The third fruit, beleric myrobalans, is a close relative of chebulic myrobalans, from Terminalia belerica, also a tanning agent.

  • When the fruit is dried, the main ingredient, water, is mostly eliminated, and the remaining constituents include roughly:
    Carbohydrates 70-75% (fiber, about 17% and sugars/starches/gums, about 25%; polyphenols: 28%)Minerals: 4-6% (calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, zinc, iron, etc.)Miscellaneous other components: 2.5-3.5%Protein: 2.5-3.5%Fats 1.5-2.0%Residual moisture: 6-9%

  • Dr. S. Ghosal, at the BHU, published his findings about active constituents of emblica fruits in 1996, in which he reported on the mistaken identification of vitamin C. The following mixture is derived from Amla by a careful process of extraction that prevents breakdown of the tannins. It contains:
    Emblicanin-A: 27%Emblicanin-B: 23%Punigluconin: 8%Pedunculagin: 14%Gallo-ellagitannoids : 18%Rutin: 10%

  • The first four ingredients listed are polyphenols (tannins); the next constituent is a combination primarily of gallic acid and ellagic acid, the tannoid components that are linked together to make the other tannins. Rutin is another phenolic compound, a common flavonoid found in many plants and isolated as a natural health care product. Dr. Ghosal describes this extract as having a greater antioxidant potential than vitamin C, while being more stable against heat and oxidation. It can be formulated as a component of internal remedies for health protective effects, especially for cardiovascular risk factors and also into skin creams that are designed to protect the skin from damage due to excess sun exposure.

Shikakai

  • Shikakai literally translates to "hair-fruit" or "fruit for hair is a shrub-like tree that grows in central India. It has been used for centuries as a cleanser for hair, body, and pretty much anywhere else a cleanser might come in handy. What sets this plant apart from the rest is that shikakai actually lathers moderately because its bark has saponins, which foam up when shaken in water, similar to soap.

  • Some people who have used the "no poo" method love it but still miss the suds from commercial shampoo. Shikakai could be the solution for this problem. It's all natural, but it still foams up. Yay!

  • Shikakai is very high in vitamin C as well as vitamins A, D, E, and K, antioxidants which are essential for healthy and rapid hair growth. These vitamins provide the hair follicles with the necessary micronutrients to help hair grow fast and healthy.

  • Shikakai looks very similar to tamarind. Its seed comes inside a pod. The seed, or fruit, is then dried, mixed with the leaves and bark, and ground into a very fine powder. That's the reason the shampoo also lathers. This powder is then made into a paste and applied to hair.

  • The good news is that we no longer have to make our own powder. We can just buy it and follow these instructions. But before you go and buy your own bottle, let's examine the benefits of shikakai.

  • Shikakai has been used for hundreds of years in India as a shampoo and body wash. It bark has saponines, which make the powder foam up much like soap.It is known to promote hair growth, beauty, and strength. It has low pH levels, which means it won't strip hair of its natural oils.

  • One of the greatest benefits of using shikakai as a regular cleanser is that it is all natural, so you wont have to worry about any harsh chemicals seeping into your body. But there are many other benefits, such as Shikakai has very low pH levels, which means your hair wont be stripped of its natural oils.Works as a shampoo and detangler at the same time. Since shikakai does not strip your hair of its natural oils, there's less chances of your hair getting all tangled up. Prevents and eliminates dandruff. Nourishes hair, making it grow faster and stronger. Can be used as shampoo, face cleanser, and body soap. This means there will be less bottles taking up precious shower space. Strengthens and conditions hair. Keeps hair moisturized and shiny. Protects the scalp from fungal infections and even hair lice.Helps delay the appearance of gray hairs.Strengthens hair roots.
