The Blue Ombre Rag Quilt is made up of horizontal rows of blue and gray flannel patches, fading from a deep blue at the top and bottom, through medium blues mixed with gray, to light grays in the middle. The back of the quilt features a subtle accent of 2 horizontal rows of gray houndstooth flannel on a light gray background.

The blue ombre rag quilt is made with 100% cotton, yarn dyed solids and plaids from the Mammoth and Shetland Flannel collections of Robert Kaufman fabrics. These cotton flannel fabrics are incredibly soft and thick, weighing in at 6.4 ounces per square yard. The soft, cuddly fabrics have the beautiful look and feel of wool, combined with the easy care of cotton. The quilt is lined with 100% pure cotton batting from Quilters Dream Batting. The back of each quilt is made up of the same quality flannel fabrics as the front.

Generous, 3/4" exposed seams yield a thick fringe around every quilt block. Each block is machine-quilted in a 2" grid pattern, unlike traditional rag quilts whose blocks are held together by a mere 2 rows of stitches. Decorative stitching around the perimeter of each quilt ensures extra durability. Every quilt is washed to enhance the decorative fringe. The fraying process will continue, causing cross threads to shed, until the quilt has been washed several more times.

Washed cotton flannel. As soft and comfortable as your favorite flannel shirt, as tough as your favorite pair of jeans. Generously sized at 75" x 92".

Suitable for use as a large throw, or as a bed quilt on a twin or twin XL size bed. Also makes a great extra layer on top of your existing bedding on a full or queen size bed.

Rugged construction. Easy care. Simply machine wash separately in warm water with mild detergent. Machine dry on medium heat. Remove promptly and enjoy!
