Sodium Hyphochloride

Sodium hypochlorite is a chemical compound with the formula NaClO. It is composed of a sodium cation (Na+) and a hypochlorite anion (ClO); it may also be viewed as the sodium salt of hypochlorous acid. Sodium hypochlorite is also known as soda bleach or chlorine bleach. It is an excellent steriliser, oxidiser and decolouring agent, and also acts as a germicide, fungicide and deodorant. The chemical is used as a bleaching agent for rayon pulp, paper and fabrics; as household bleach for fly control; and for industrial water treatment and pool chlorination. It also finds application as a food additive. Application: Household bleachingUsed in surface cleanerUsed in detergentUsed in healthcare facilitiesUsed in DeodorizingUsed to treat dilute cyanide waste waterTechnical Specification Appearance Colourless liquid with strong odourChemical formula NaClOMolecular weight 75.45Odour Strong odourDensity 1.25 gmL at 20 CMelting point -16 C

Bromine Compounds

Bromine is a chemical element with symbol Br and atomic number 35. It is a fuming red-brown liquid at room temperature that evaporates readily to form a similarly coloured gas. Its properties are thus intermediate between those of chlorine and iodine. Application: Used as fumigants in the form of alkaline bromides.Preparation of organic intermediates for manufacture of dyes and a host of organic compounds.Used in the form of bromocyanogen for treating ores of gold.As catalyst in alkylation and isomerisation reactions in the form aluminium bromide.Used in antiknock gasoline as ethylene dibromide with tetraethyl lead.Alkali bromides such as bromochloroethane find use as fire extinguisher.Bromides of sodium & potassium used in pharmaceutical industries as mild safe sedatives.Silver bromides are used in photographic industry.Lithium and calcium bromides are used as efficient desiccants.TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION: 1. Bromine percentage by mass (min) 99.70%2. Chlorine percentage by mass (max) 0.30%3. Iodine percentage by mass (max) 0.05%4. Non-volatile matter percentage by mass NaCl (max) 0.05%5. Industrial Salt

Sodium chloride, also known as common salt is an ionic chemical compound with the formula NaCl. Industrial salt forms an intermediary in the manufacturing of a wide variety of products right from detergents, textile dyes, resins, plastics, glass and other chemicals. Industrial salt also assists in cleaning gas and oil wells and is an essential component in the manufacture of paper, tyre, brass, bleach and case-hardened steel. Solar ponds and other energy producing facilities require large amounts of salt to maintain a necessary salinity, adding to the application of industrial salt as an energy producer. Non-ferric Alum

Alum is essentially aluminium sulphate with the empirical formula Al2 (SO4)3.18HO. It is of two types (i) Ferric and (ii) Non Ferric. Non Ferric Alum is a purer form of aluminum sulphate. The Non Ferric Alum(Aluminium Sulphate) offered by us is used mainly in the pulp and paper industry and as a flocculating agent or coagulant in water and waste treatment for clarifying and or purifying sewage and water for clarifying fats, oils and petroleum products as a leather tanning agent as a pH stabilizer applied to soils to make it less alkaline or to produce acid conditions cement hardening accelerator; a mordant in dyeing anti-caking agent a fire extinguisher, a flame retardant additive and a foaming agent in firefighting foams. Poly Aluminium Chloride

Aluminium chlorohydrate is a group of specific aluminium salts having the general formula AlnCl(3n-m)(OH)m. It is used in cosmetics as an antiperspirant and as a coagulant in water purification. In water purification, this compound is preferred in some cases because of its high charge, which makes it more effective at destabilizing and removing suspended materials than other aluminium salts such as aluminium sulfate, aluminium chloride. We provide Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) in both Liquid and Powder Form.
