Air Valve is a combination of a small and a large orifice air valves, separate conventional isolating Non Rising Sluice Valve is provided for inspection / maintenance of the air valve without closing the main line.

These valves are designed with total compliance with applicable design and testing standards. All designs are validated for stress analysis. Air release valves find wide application in water works /water /effluent /sewage treatment plants.

FEATURES

Vacuum Breaker cum Air Cushion Valve should be designed to allow large quantities of air intake in the pipeline during column separation occurring after pump tripping or emptying of gravity lines, based on surge analysis data.

The valve is mounted on a Tee joint at location, where water column separation is likely to occur. The valve has spring loaded inlet & outlet ports of air. This valve is a tailor made valve & the sizes of the inlet & outlet ports are determined from the extent & severity of the water column separation at the given location.

FEATURES OF THE VALVE

This valve is useful and efficient for both air intake & expelling from pipeline during filling and emptying.

This valve allow air intake in large quantities within very short time.

These valves expel air at controlled pressure absorbing energy of returning water column to reduce severity of water column rejoinder.

Tamper proof valve with SS / Galvanized internals.

Inlet and Outlet air flow / pressure is adjustable.

O-ring sealing for both inlet and outlet which is more reliable than conventional float sealing.
