Our farm fresh eggs and customer service have won us the patronage of customers from as far as the Middle East, Africa and Asia. In fact, we were among the first to explore new territories across Africa and Asia. The Company is highly networked with all the major food importers out of Middle East and West Africa. Export of Table Eggs happens out of Namakkal in the southern part of India. Adequate infrastructure in terms of procurement, cleaning, grading, printing and packing is built and the Table Eggs gets exported out of Tuticorin Port in South India. Our egg division was started in 2002, in the Namakkal District of Tamil Nadu. Within a short span, we have tremendously developed as the largest exporter of table eggs from India and hold 70% of the market share of egg exports from India. This has largely been made possible by our well-established supply chain and our committed efforts to deliver high quality farm produce. We have the full in-house infrastructure to handle egg exports of any volume. We also produce paper cartons and moulded paper pulp trays, which are the primary packing materials and the full logistics cold chain to deliver top quality fresh eggs to all our customers. Some of the large food importers are from Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Republic of Yemen. Afghanistan, CIS Countries like Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazhakistan Other West African Countries like Egypt, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast. Incidentally we are one of the preferred vendors of major food contractors who are enlisted with US Army, UK Army, UN Peace Keeping Force and other western settlements in Middle East and Africa. VKS Foods has developed an ISO 22000 based Food Safety Management System which assures the safety of table eggs prepared at VKS Foods premises. Process control plans developed and operated for all aspects that are applicable to the safety of food stuffs are diligently followed as elaborated in ISO 22000 Food Safety System Manual.
