Tubular heating elements provide an economical, robust, and versatile heat source. These elements are commonly used surface. Datta industries can provide formed elements ready to go into your existing channel or new design. Plain tubular heaters are available in straight lengths or bent as per customers requirement with threaded stud connection at both ends. Finned tubular heaters have enlarged surface area to help faster dissipation of heat. Due to the fact that these designs are made to order, our engineering staff will require a detailed drawing or CAD disk for design pur.
Finned Tubular Heaters - Description
Finned Tubular Heaters are normally used in forced circulation heating of low temperature air, other atmospheres and gases. Typical applications include forced convection heating of air, process atmospheres, and oven atmospheres in duct environments. Steel finned tubular heaters are standard with surface temperatures limited to about 425C (797F) compared to 815C (1500F) for an alloy sheathed non-finned heater. Some applications require stainless steel materials for corrosion resistance. The most efficient finned heaters are made with steel sheath and steel fins. Steel is normally used for air heating, stainless steel for atmospheres, which are humid or corrosive, and monel for salt-laden humid atmospheres. Keep in mind that stainless heaters with stainless fins are very inefficient since the heat transfer rate of stainless is less than one quarter that for steels. Finned Tubular Heaters offer distinct advantages over open coil heaters:
They are safer to operate in that the risk of fire or electrical shock are minimized; They have a much longer service life; andThey are more rugged requiring less maintenance than open coil heateFEATURES
APPLICATIONS
Mica insulated heaters operate best and provide the longest life when the sheath temperatures are held below 250oC. Applications
Features
Cartridge heaters are cylindrical electrical heating elements. Protected with a stainless steel sheath, their watt density can reach 50 W/cm2 and their surface temperature can go up to 800cC (1472F). Mostly used for heating up solids such as injection presses heating plates of various tools, they can also be used for heating up water of gases under certain conditions. Widely used for manufacturing plastic and rubber parts in the car industry or in the food processing industry, etc They are also commonly found in the chemical, electronics, medical equipments, packing. Various cartridge heater technologies are available. The choice of technology will depend on technical specifications Required and the application. Unless you know exactly which product you are looking for, we will recommend you the best solution for your needs.

Mini coil heaters lend themselves to a variety of applications. Because of its Flexibility mineral insulated cable can be coiled, formed, wrapped around pipe or used straight. Open wound mini coil heater can be used as Cartridge heater where irregular size bores are found. More often however Mini coil heaters are used on plastic injection molding machine bushings and for machine nozzles
Technical Data for Coil HeatersMini coil heaters features
oil immersion heaters are designed for installation into pipe body, tank or pressure vessel using standard pipe size. These heaters are available in available in wide selection of rates, sizes and sheath materials suitable for the heating requirements of oil. Flanged oil immersion heaters are very efficient since all energy that is generated is dissipated directly into the medium, which is being heated. All flanged heater models incorporate tubular heater construction welded or brazed into a carbon steel pipe flange. Name 1 terminal enclosures are supplied with all standard units. Moisture resistant and explosion proof models are also available. All flanged oil immersion heaters we offer you including heaters for hazardous locations
