L Finned Tubes

We are offering l finned tubes these finned tubes are used in low temperature applications and where a certain degree of protection of the tube wall thickness against corrosion is required. "l" fins are usually called as the wrap-on fins, where in the fin metal strip is tension wound around the tube. The fins are manufactured from a preformed l shaped strip which is then continuously helically wound under tension on the tube. In this case each fin is in contact with the adjacent fin which provides certain amount of protection from atmospheres which are not very corrosive. This manufacturing process allows the use of relatively thin walled tubes. The fins are secured at each end to prevent unwinding. Fin material: aluminum or coppertube material: carbon steels low-alloy steels, stainless steels, brass, copper, coppernickel alloys, aluminium brass, nickel-alloys (alloy 400, ext.), bimetal, titanium and othersworking temperature: 130oc. Maximum fields of applicationthe petroleum, chemical and petrochemical industriesnatural gas treatmentthe steel industry: blast furnace and converter systemspower generation: steam turbine exhaust condensingcontact condensing with cooling of circulating condensatefossil and nuclear power plantsair conditioningincineration of household refusecompressor coolers, ect. advantageseconomicthis method of manufacturing enables us to place the finning on a very thin-walled tube with is particularly desirable when using high value alloys(titanium, stainless, copper, nickel). The tube can withstand a temperature of up to 130oc without the risk of atmospheric corrosion or thermal stress.

Kl Finned Tubes

We are offering kl finned tubes "k" finned tubes were a further development to the l finned tubes, for increased temperature levels and increased protection to the tube surface. In these fins the foot of the fin is shaped before it is tension wound on the tube similar to the l type fins. The fins are rolled into a taper on the base tube by the knurling tool which makes the fins curl. This process allows the fins to tightly bond with the base tube for increased thermal performance as the area for heat transfer increases. The joint between the fin and the tube is air tight which improves corrosion protection. Similar to the l fins these are also secured at the ends to prevent unwinding. Fin material: aluminum or coppertube material: any metalworking temperature: 220oc

G Finned Tubes

We are offering "g" finned tubes ( embedded fin tubes) these fins are used in applications where high thermal or mechanical stress is involved. These are commonly called as embedded fins. The fins are manufactured by continuously helically winding the strip into the machined grooves and further embedded in to the groove by high pressure expansion. The material displaced is then placed along the fin side. Fin material: aluminium copper steel galvanized steeltube material: carbon steels, low-alloy steels, stainless steels, brass, copper, copper-nickel alloys, aluminium brass, nickel-alloys (alloy 400, etc.), bimetal, titanium and others working temperature: 450oc applicationsthe petroleum, chemical and petrochemical industriesnatural gas treatmentthe steel industry: blast furnace and converter systemspower generation: steam turbine exhaust condensingcontact condensing with cooling of circulating condensatefossil and nuclear power plantsair conditioning (freon, ammonia, propane)incineration of household refusecompressor coolers, ect
