We are offering l finned tubes these finned tubes are used in low temperature applications and where a certain degree of protection of the tube wall thickness against corrosion is required. "l" fins are usually called as the wrap-on fins, where in the fin metal strip is tension wound around the tube. The fins are manufactured from a preformed l shaped strip which is then continuously helically wound under tension on the tube. In this case each fin is in contact with the adjacent fin which provides certain amount of protection from atmospheres which are not very corrosive. This manufacturing process allows the use of relatively thin walled tubes. The fins are secured at each end to prevent unwinding. Fin material: aluminum or coppertube material: carbon steels low-alloy steels, stainless steels, brass, copper, coppernickel alloys, aluminium brass, nickel-alloys (alloy 400, ext.), bimetal, titanium and othersworking temperature: 130oc.
