Application

Globe Valves are compatible with all CFC, HCFC and HFC Refrigerants and oils and other Industrial gases / fluids non-corrosive to Steel and Brass. (With suitable Seal Material).

Construction

  • Valve Body: Hot Forged Brass (BS-218).
  • Valve Bonnet: Hot Forged Brass (BS-218).
  • Spindle: SS 304.
  • Gland Nut: Extruded brass.
  • Stem packing: Neoprene rubber and Asbestos Free gasket.
  • Seat: P.T.F.E.
  • Bonnet cap: Electroplated MS.

Design

  • The Valve is designed with large orifice and integrally forged flow path offering very low frictional resistance, ensuring maximum flow rate and minimal pressure drop.
  • Internal back seating enables replacement of the spindle seal whilst the valve is active, i.e. under pressure

Operation & Testing.

  • Maximum working pressure with flow in direction of Arrow mark 400 psig.
  • Working Temperature Range : (-30C + 100C).
  • Individual pneumatic Testing in Open/Close position at 400 psig.

Installation for Solder connection

  • While brazing solder connection, disassemble the Valve and use suitable filler material for brazing.
  • While re-assembling the Valve allow the Valve body to cool to room temperature and clean the part thoroughly. For leak tight sealing use Torque wrench set at correct load to avoid damage to the Seal and Valve.

Angle Isolating Valve With Back Seating

Application

Rotolock valves are Compatible with all CFC, HCFC and HFC Refrigerants, mineral oils, Alkyl Benzene, POE lubricants and Industrial fluids non-corrosive to steel and brass. (With suitable Gland/Seal).

Materials of construction

  • Valve Body: Hot Forged Brass (BS-218).
  • Spindle: Stainless Steel 304.
  • Gland Nut: Free cutting Brass
  • Gland Packing: Graphite and Neoprene
  • Seal Cap: Plated steel / ABS
  • Seat : Stainless Steel 304

Design

  • Forged Brass body and SS 304 internal components minimize chances of porosity and corrosion in all conditions and allow easy brazing with copper tubes.
  • Spindle with full back seating and special graphite seals allow gland packing to be changed in open position and brazing without disassembling the valve.
  • Brass body and SS 304 floating internal seat allow metal to metal seating on dissimilar metals resulting in positive isolation and virtually lifelong durability.

Operation & Testing.

  • Maximum working pressure 450 psig.
  • Working Temperature Range: (-30C + 100C).
  • Individual pneumatic Testing in Open/Close position at 450 psig.

Application

Design

  • Superior Bonnet Design allows easy access when disassembling / assembling for solder connections.
