Rolls For Flour Mills

Jai Bharat Castings are manufacture & exporter of chilled rolls for roller flour mills by centrifugal spin casting technique, using controlled rotational speed & precise double pouring to produce these rolls, this is the most contemporary and sophisticated method to produce high quality duplex rolls, the cementite & paralytic structure ensures that the rolls have consistent hardness over the entire surface (18-20 mm chilled depth) these rolls are available in sand blasted, smooth & fluted surface finish along with grinding and grooving, completed with shrunk fit forged en-8 & en-9 journals and bearing size operations according to milling bodies of overseas & Indian flour mill manufactures, however semi-finish rolls are also available for further harmonizing of journals

Advantage:
JBC manufactured rolls are made for high peripheral speed roller flour mills therefore these chilled rolls manufactured dynamically balanced, due to our advance centrifugal casting technique, lighter impurities like oxides & gas float more quickly towards the center of rotation from molten metal, where they are easily machined, thus gives a clearer working outer surface, because of the much-reduced cross section of the shell material, a faster cooling rate is obtained harder chilled layer which ensure longer life of rolls

Flour Mill Rolls Range
:: Chilled Cast Iron Flour Mill Rolls :: 200 mm x L800 , L1000 & L1200 mm

Indefinite Chilled Rolls

Indefinite chilled rolls are basically controlled under actual casting and molding conditions, does not solidify completely, even surface contains small amounts of very finely divided carbide, the graphite gradually increases simultaneously in size and in amount from surface to core accompanied by decrease in carbide content, the matrix is generally pearlitic throughout the cross section, indefinite chilled rolls are using extent of silicon, chromium, nickel and molybdenum, resulting, that the working face is no longer completely white (this feature make it different from clear chill rolls where the chilled-zone is graphite-free clear and white) the desired hardness is obtained by changing the carbide/graphite balance which is achieved by a close control of chemistry and process parameters

Advantage:
This variety is generally cheaper than the spheroidal graphite cast iron rolls, the gradual change in hardness associated with the indefinite-chilled structure allows deeper grooving i.e. indefinite chilled rolls are superior in biting performance, indefinite rolls produce excellent results while achieving maximum functional depth, ensure minimum sacrifice of clear chill layer, as the presence of graphite in indefinite chilled rolls offers strong resistance to thermal shock occurring at the time of accident in the rolling operation compared to other types of cast roll

Roll of this type have hardness up to about 70 Shore C can be grooved for use in roughing and finishing stands, for processing sections such as T-bars and U-sections, and for roughing and intermediate rolls of wire and rod mills.

Universal Coupling

Universal couplings are parts to connect the sets of axis and to transfer movement and angular force of mechanical products. They are widely used for machinery of steel rolling mills, mining, metallurgical rolling, petrochemical, hoist lifting and wind power making turbines etc. They are classified into types of mechanical, hydraulic and electromagnetic. Mechanical type is the most common one. It is classified into rigid type, flexible type and safe type according to different standards & end user application Rigid type couplings have the main functions of connection and transmission, such as flanged type, sleeve type and clamping type, flexible type couplings have the main functions of connection, transmission, buffering and compensation, such as gear type, membrane type, chain type, universal type and non-metal flexible type.Safe couplings have functions not only as above mentioned, but also overload protection, such as ball type, friction type and pin connected type.
Advantage:
Jai Bharat Castings is a coupling manufacturer, founded in 1977.Not only do we produce couplings, but also we are a comprehensive coupling company in designing, manufacturing and selling of couplings and spare and accessory parts. We produce kinds of unstandable couplings, at the same time, we also produce different kinds of standable coupling. The couplings are in high precision , low noise and vibration, long life and so on, we have a good reputation for our strict management, timely delivery and best quality along-with best service to our customers.

Spheroidal Graphite Rolls

Pearlitic Spheroidal Graphite Rolls have a thick layer of cast iron with nodular graphite, the name of such roll is based on the fact that the material consists of nodular graphite and carbides in a pearlitic matrix, the softest grades have a pearlitic matrix containing ferrite around the graphite nodules, while the higher hardness grades have a complete pearlitic matrix, the carbide content increases proportionately with the hardness.

Acicular Spheroidal Graphite Rolls:Acicular Spheroidal Graphite Rolls also have a thick layer of cast iron with nodular graphite, here, the name of such roll is based on the fact that the material consists of nodular graphite and carbides in a pearlitic - bainitic matrix, the carbide content is considerably higher in the harder grades than the softer ones.

Advantage:

S.G Iron Rolls are so superior in wear resistance to that of cast steel rolls that they are specially adapted for roughing and intermediate plate mills and rod or bar mill roughers. as a result of the spheroidal form of the graphite, s g iron rolls are much stronger than rolls of the clear-chill type and the gradual fall in hardness is an added advantage, as such, these rolls are particularly suitable for skelp and strip mills, also bar billet mills, and are being increasingly used for other applications.

Applications:
::

SG Iron Rolls for TMT Rolling Mills

:: SG Iron Rolls for Automatic Rolling Mills
::

SG Iron Rolls for Narrow Strip Mill
