Bulk Density Apparatus – 951 is a specially designed to study the packing down of powder beds of different pharmaceutical and chemical powders, flakes, pellets, granules and other bulk suppliance’s. Bulk Density is an essential test required in the process of tablet, capsule filling and cosmetic manufacturing.The system is equipped with microcontroller based digital display for displaying accurate and exact stroke count and soft touch membrane type keys for ease of operation. The system has ‘SET’, ‘UP’ and ‘DOWN’ keys, for setting the total number of required strokes (Set Count) for the current measurement session. User can set to any number of required strokes within the range from 1 to 9999 counts. The system automatically stores the last ‘Set Count’ value which is retained in the memory even when the instrument is switched off. Each stroke count is displayed on the 4 digit seven segment bright red LED display on the front panel. A common lock cushioned holder for both the cylinders drops down smoothly from the height and holds the cylinders. The Up/Down (i.e. Tapping) movement of the cylinders stop automatically at the ‘Set Count’ value. An audible alarm sound indicates that the current measurement session is over.

Melting Point Apparatus with 4 digit, 7-Segment LED display is designed for accurate measurement of melting points and for checking the melting range of the solid samples. The apparatus consists of a silicon bath of about 200 ml capacity, covered with teflon cover with 3 holes fitted, with a
special type of oil immersion heater having three holes for holding the capillaries, one for boiling point tube and one for the thermometer. The apparatus consists of in-built magnetic stirrer, an electronic controller with indicator for precisely adjusting the rate of heating of silicon oil-bath, an ON/OFF switch, a pilot lamp, with magnifier, a glare free background illuminator, a High/Low range temperature selector switch and digital temperature indicator with PT100 RTD sensorThe ‘Start’ switch is used to start the measurement of melting point. User can sto the measurement using the ‘Stop’ switch after the instrument reaches the melting point of the sample. SSI Class II Type B1 Biological Safety Cabinets
The Class II Type B1 biological safety cabinet has a common plenum from which 70% of air is exhausted, and 30% re-circulated to the work area as the down flow.
Type B1 cabinets also have a dedicated exhaust feature that eliminates re-circulation when work is performed towards the back within the interior of the cabinet. Toxic chemicals employed as an adjunct to microbiological processes should only be employed if they do not interfere with work when re-circulated in the down flow.
SSI Class II Type B2 Biological Safety Cabinets
SSI Class II Type B2 cabinet all inflow and down flow air is exhausted after HEPA filtration to the external environment without recirculation within the cabinet. Type B2 cabinets are suitable for work with toxic chemicals employed as an adjunct to microbiological processes under all circumstances since no re-circulation occurs. In theory, Type B2 cabinets may be considered to be the safest of all Class II biological safety cabinets since the total exhaust feature acts as a fail-safe in the event that the down flow and / or exhaust HEPA filtration systems cease to function normally. However, Class II Type B2 cabinets are, in practice, difficult to install, balance and maintain.

Digital HPLC flowmeters are used to measure the accuracy of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography pumping systems in order to meet FDA and other regulations regarding installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ) and performance qualification (PQ) of equipment used in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries as well as other analytical labs. The process demands accurate, reproducible column retention time as an analyte is pumped through the HPLC system. These precision instruments are not to be likened to flow meters used on process lines measuring flow rates in, for example, thousands of gallons per minute but instead in fractions of milliliters per minute. Why Digital HPLC Flow Meters are Popular The answer is clear when compared to two alternative methods defined as volumetric using a finely graduated cylinder and gravimetric using a precision analytical scale. In either case a stopwatch is needed along with a technician with excellent eyesight and a high degree of patience. For volumetric measurement, technicians begin to collect HPLC eluent in the graduated cylinder and simultaneously start the watch. When sufficient volume is collected, the technician simultaneously stops the flow into the cylinder, stops the watch, then calculates and records the flow rate in milliliters per minute. For gravimetric, the process is similar but measured by weight of eluent captured in a tared container.
