Gsm Testing Machine

This equipment measures and directly indicates substance of paper and fabric in terms of grams per sq. meter (GSM). It displays gsm of samples cut selected to size on a digital indicator. This GSM value can be used in Bursting Strength Tester to get the burst factor of any paper or boards which is an important factor in the packaging industry, this instrument is used to measure paper GSM, Fabric GSM Tests.

Universal Testing Machine

OVERVIEW:

A Universal testing machine, also known as universal tester, material testing machine and material test frame is used to test the tensile stress and compressive strength of materials. It is named after the fact that it can perform many standard tensile and compression tests on materials, components and structures. Once the machine is started it begins to apply an increasing load on the specimen. Throughout the tests the control system and its associated software record the load and extension or compression of the specimen.

Machines range from very small table top systems to ones with even over 53MN capacity

FEATURES:

Loading Accuracy as high as +1%

• Straining at variable speeds to suit a wide range of materials.

• Motor driven threaded columns for quick effortless adjustment of lower cross-head-to facilitate rapid fixing of test specimen.

• High reading accuracy due to large sized design of dial.

• Wide range of standard and special accessories, including load stabilizer.

• Easy change from plain to threaded and screwed specimens.

• Large effective clearance between columns enables testing of standard specimens as well as structures.

• Simple controls for ease of operation.

• Safe operation ensured be means of safety devices. • Fully enclosed and protected pendulum.

• Robust staining frame of an extremely rigid construction.

• Continuous roll autographic recorder supplied as standard to enable study of the behaviour of materials

Micro Vickers Hardness Testing Machine

VickersVickers cum Brinell hardness testers are suitable for testing very wide range of materials. From very soft material such as lead upto hard material like hardened steel, as well as thin metal strips & case hardened jobs can be tested since the load applied is very small. Though these machines are easy to operate it is highly precise. A push button system is provided for the selection of loads. Loading cycle and penetration of the indentor in the job starts after pressing the push button. Unloading is accomplished through handle and diagonaldiameter of impression directly appears on the screen.

Paper Testing Machine

The Box Compression Test measures the compressive strength of packages such as boxes, drums, and cans. It usually provides a plot of deformation vs compressive force. It is commonly used to evaluate shipping containers made of corrugated fiberboard as well as wooden boxes and crates. Industrial and consumer packages other than boxes can also be subjected to compression testing: drum, pail, bottle, tub, etc. Package components are also evaluated for compression resistance. Method of conducting the test as described in several published standard test methods is to compress a box at a constant rate of 12 inch (12.5 mm) per minute between two rigid platens. The test can be conducted on empty or filled boxes, with or without a box closure. Conditioning to standard temperature and humidity is important.

Pendulum Impact Testing Machine

The Pendulum is mounted on antifriction bearings. It has two starting positions, the upper one for Charpy & the lower one for izod testing. On release, the pendulum swings down to brake the specimen and the energy absorbed in doing so is measured as the difference between the height of drop before rupture and the height of rise after rupture of the test specimen and is read from the maximum pointer position on the dial scale.
