WET TYPE SUBMERSIBLE PUMP SPEEDS 2880 RPM :-

MOTOR :-

VENUS Submersible motor is a wet type, squirrel cage induction motor of 2880 R.P.M. suitable for 415 V/220V, 50Hz, 3/ single phase, A.C. supply. The windings are made of waterproof Polly/PVC. Insulated Copper wires. The motor shaft is guided by sleeve bearings of special lead bronze having extremely high wearing capacity. The axial thrust produced by the pump and Motor is taken care by means of single titling pad thrust bearing. The winding and bearing bushes are cooled and lubricated by pure water filled in the motor before erecting pump set. The motor is protected from well water sand and foreign materials by means of cable gland and rubber seal etc. The thrust bearing housing is provided with a drain plug for filling and draining water.

PUMP :-

The pump is multistage type of latest hydraulic design for maximum performance and operating efficiency. Impellers are dynamically balanced. The stainless steel shaft is lapped to close tolerances, guided by water lubricated rubber bearings, provided at in each bowl of impeller casingA strainer is provided at in to the suction casing. A stainless steel coupling is provided to couple the motor and pump. A non-return valve is provided just below the rising main. Hydrostatic test is conducted on each pump set 2 times the maximum discharge pressure.VENUS pump sets are manufactured and tested conforming to IS : 8034-1989, specification for submersible pump sets for clear, cold, fresh water.
