Internal Ball Float Level Controllers (Model: IBF-19)

The position of ball float is determinded by the fluid level variation that actuates the rod through a system of levers. The instrument is based on the Archimedes Principle. Any increase in level raises the float up; it is also helped by counter weight in its upward movement. The mechanical link operates the plunger of pneumatic relay and it changes the output pressure which finally operates the control valve. The maximum span of the plug turn is 50 which is approximately a range of 300 mm in terms of level. The pneumatic relay operates at 1.1 to 2.5Kg/cm2of purified, dry natural gas or air.
INTERNAL BALL FLOAT LEVEL CONTROLLERS Introduction
This instrument is side mounted, directly to the flange on the side of oil and gas separators, vaccum towers, fractionating/distillation columns, liquid containers where a float operating inside of the tower can be used. However this instrument is not recommended in turbulent and foaming fluids. MICRO VALVE LEVEL CONTROLLERS
This is a snap-acting float operated level controller with a 3 wayMICRO VALVE. When the level rises and raises the float, it is actuated by two adjustable york-type pusher arms. The pusher arms can be adjusted to accurately control the range of level desired.
The valve is in low level position when the liquid level is below the float and it remains the same until the float rises to the pre-set high level. ULTRASONIC LEVEL TRANSMITTERS Principle
It functions on the principle of measuring Liquid Level by ultrasonic waves. Transmitter generates and launches a continuous band of powerful ultrasonic waves aimed towards the surface of liquid. The sensor element consists of a Bimetal combination having different thermal expansion coefficient. This difference in their thermal expansion coefficient produces a mechanical motion. The sensing element of the Controller is installed directly in the process vessel. The temperature changes inside the process will result in the following
  • Incase of a rise in temperature, the inner metal rod will expand and will contract incase of a decrease in temperature. The change in length is proportional to the change in temperature.
  • The outer metal tube has a low expansion coefficient and thus change in length is negligible. But since one end is attached to the inner metal tube, the inner rod moves as the outer tube changes length.
  • The opposite end of inner rod pushes against a floating link. It is held concentric with a spring loaded inner valve. When the temperature decreases, the inner rod applies pressure on the floating link, it causes pivot to move around the adjustment fulcrum point which tilts the inner valve plug thus the output signal increases. The temperature can be adjusted by moving the knob on the fulcrum.
PNEUMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROLLERS Introduction
The instrument is provided with two adjustments (a) temperature set Point control and (b) Proportionality control. The temperature can be adjusted and where between - 50 F to + 750 F. The proportionality control is given to set the desirable temperature span. The proportionality control, calibrated from 5 to 60 F corresponds to produce 0.2 - 1 Kg / cm2output.
The orifice in the seat is eccentrically drilled so that while rotating the seat it moves the rifice with respect to the adjusting serew. This regulates the orifice opening with respect to temperature changes.

Reflex Level Gauge (RLG-19)
Reflex Level Gaugeis designed for measurement of liquid level in vessels under high pressure & temperature conditions. It is a flat glass gauge, which has precision Mounded prismatic grooves cut on its inner side coming in contact with the medium. Transparent Level Gauge (TPLG-19)
Transparent Level Gaugeis designed for measurement of liquid level in tanks under high pressure and temperature conditions. It consists of double flat glass mounted opposite to each other on a chamber. The glasses are held together by studs through cover plates. It is used for interface services or when the process is dirty or viscous. [ Pneumatic Level Controllers (Model: PLC-19) ]

PNEUMATIC LEVEL CONTROLLER(Pneumatic Controller) works on the buoyancy principle. The force applied is propotional to the volume of liquid displaced. Change in the liquid level produces a change in the position of flex tube end. This causes movement of the flex tube shaft to which carrier assembly is connected. Carrier assembly opens or closes the nozzle to give pneumatic output from the pilot valve.

Interface Level Controllers (Model: ILC-19)

Like most of the level instruments, Liquid interface controller also works on the buoyancy principle. The force applied by the float/displacer is proportional to the volume of liquid displaced. Change in the liquid level causes a change in the position of flex tube end. This causes movement of the flex tube shaft and aflapper is connected to the shaft. A booster relay placed to control the speed and response time helps to remove heavier liquid (Water at a fast speed. The relay is enclosed in a pressure light housing that allows remole release of vented gases and also protects the pilot and pressure gauges from the field disturbances and during cleaning. It operates pneumatically in direct as well as reverse direction. Reverse action can be obtained by rotating the nozzle assembly by 180.
INTERFACE LEVEL CONTROLLERS Introduction
TheInterface Level Controllerconsists of a nozzle, flapper and an amplifying relay which operate on dry air supply or gas. It also has a displacer mounted to the flex tube which is attached to a standard flange. A carrier assembly is mounted on the reverse side of the flange with adjusting screw, nozzle and relay with an orifice. A cleaning device is also provided to clean clogged orifice. The flex tube permits vertical motion only and transmits the displacer motion from within the shaft to the nozzle. The displacer is speciallt designed to sence Specific Gravity difference of even 0.05.

Internal Ball Float Level Controllers (Model: IBF-19)

The position of ball float is determinded by the fluid level variation that actuates the rod through a system of levers. The instrument is based on the Archimedes Principle. Any increase in level raises the float up; it is also helped by counter weight in its upward movement. The mechanical link operates the plunger of pneumatic relay and it changes the output pressure which finally operates the control valve. The maximum span of the plug turn is 50 which is approximately a range of 300 mm in terms of level. The pneumatic relay operates at 1.1 to 2.5Kg/cm2of purified, dry natural gas or air.
INTERNAL BALL FLOAT LEVEL CONTROLLERS Introduction
This instrument is side mounted, directly to the flange on the side of oil and gas separators, vaccum towers, fractionating/distillation columns, liquid containers where a float operating inside of the tower can be used. However this instrument is not recommended in turbulent and foaming fluids. This is a snap-acting float operated level controller with a 3 wayMICRO VALVE. When the level rises and raises the float, it is actuated by two adjustable york-type pusher arms. The pusher arms can be adjusted to accurately control the range of level desired.
The valve is in low level position when the liquid level is below the float and it remains the same until the float rises to the pre-set high level. ULTRASONIC LEVEL TRANSMITTERS Principle
It functions on the principle of measuring Liquid Level by ultrasonic waves. Transmitter generates and launches a continuous band of powerful ultrasonic waves aimed towards the surface of liquid. The sensor element consists of a Bimetal combination having different thermal expansion coefficient. This difference in their thermal expansion coefficient produces a mechanical motion. The sensing element of the Controller is installed directly in the process vessel. The temperature changes inside the process will result in the following
  • Incase of a rise in temperature, the inner metal rod will expand and will contract incase of a decrease in temperature. The change in length is proportional to the change in temperature.
  • The outer metal tube has a low expansion coefficient and thus change in length is negligible. But since one end is attached to the inner metal tube, the inner rod moves as the outer tube changes length.
  • The opposite end of inner rod pushes against a floating link. It is held concentric with a spring loaded inner valve. When the temperature decreases, the inner rod applies pressure on the floating link, it causes pivot to move around the adjustment fulcrum point which tilts the inner valve plug thus the output signal increases. The temperature can be adjusted by moving the knob on the fulcrum.
PNEUMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROLLERS Introduction
The instrument is provided with two adjustments (a) temperature set Point control and (b) Proportionality control. The temperature can be adjusted and where between - 50 F to + 750 F. The proportionality control is given to set the desirable temperature span. The proportionality control, calibrated from 5 to 60 F corresponds to produce 0.2 - 1 Kg / cm2output.
The orifice in the seat is eccentrically drilled so that while rotating the seat it moves the rifice with respect to the adjusting serew. This regulates the orifice opening with respect to temperature changes.

These models consists of Red or Black/white magnetic rollers equipped with small rod magnets which are rotated one after another at an angle of 180 by the magnetic field of the permanent magnet put inside the float. The rollers change from white to red on rising level and red to white on falling level. Plastic rollers are suitable for liquid temperature upto 100C & Alluminium rollers for temperature upto 250C and ceramic rollers for temperature upto 450C.

Reflex Level Gauge (RLG-19)
Reflex Level Gaugeis designed for measurement of liquid level in vessels under high pressure & temperature conditions. It is a flat glass gauge, which has precision Mounded prismatic grooves cut on its inner side coming in contact with the medium. Light striking the glass covered by liquid is refracted (absorbed) into the liquid making this portion appear black, whereas light covering the vapor space is reflected back towards the viewers, making it appear silvery-white. Thus, a sharp clear line marks the liquid, eliminating all possibilities of errors in reading.

Transparent Level Gauge (TPLG-19)
Transparent Level Gaugeis designed for measurement of liquid level in tanks under high pressure and temperature conditions. It consists of double flat glass mounted opposite to each other on a chamber. The glasses are held together by studs through cover plates. It is used for interface services or when the process is dirty or viscous. The chamber is available in a variety of metallurgy i.e. PP, CS, MS, SS304, SS316, SS 316L etc. The isolation valves can also be supplied in different metallurgy depending upon process fluid.

PNEUMATIC LEVEL CONTROLLER(Pneumatic Controller) works on the buoyancy principle. The force applied is propotional to the volume of liquid displaced. Change in the liquid level produces a change in the position of flex tube end. This causes movement of the flex tube shaft to which carrier assembly is connected. Carrier assembly opens or closes the nozzle to give pneumatic output from the pilot valve.

Pneumatic Level Controllerconsists of a displacer mounted to the flex tube. The Pilot Valve and carrier assembly are housed in weather proof IP65 housing. Interface Level Controllers (Model: ILC-19)

Like most of the level instruments, Liquid interface controller also works on the buoyancy principle. The force applied by the float/displacer is proportional to the volume of liquid displaced. Change in the liquid level causes a change in the position of flex tube end. This causes movement of the flex tube shaft and aflapper is connected to the shaft. A booster relay placed to control the speed and response time helps to remove heavier liquid (Water at a fast speed. The relay is enclosed in a pressure light housing that allows remole release of vented gases and also protects the pilot and pressure gauges from the field disturbances and during cleaning. It operates pneumatically in direct as well as reverse direction. Reverse action can be obtained by rotating the nozzle assembly by 180.
INTERFACE LEVEL CONTROLLERS Introduction
TheInterface Level Controllerconsists of a nozzle, flapper and an amplifying relay which operate on dry air supply or gas. It also has a displacer mounted to the flex tube which is attached to a standard flange. A carrier assembly is mounted on the reverse side of the flange with adjusting screw, nozzle and relay with an orifice. A cleaning device is also provided to clean clogged orifice. The flex tube permits vertical motion only and transmits the displacer motion from within the shaft to the nozzle. The displacer is speciallt designed to sence Specific Gravity difference of even 0.05.
