SIDE MOUNTED MAGNETIC LEVEL SWITCHis an economical, maintenance free and a very reliable device used for high, low or intermediate point level switching. It is ideal for tanks with inaccessible tops or bottoms and where insertion depths of top mounted models are exceeded. The construction is compact & rugged with a free moving pivoted float assembly. The Switch assembly is mounted in a non-magnetic material to achieve undisturbed magnetic flux. It employs dual magnets, one linked with the float arm and other by the contract carriers housed in the switch enclosure. Change in the liquid level brings the like poles of dual magnets opposite to each other & resulting repulsion force ensures a changeover of contacts with snap action. These can be mounted internally or externally through a chamber. External mounting is preferred where space is a limiting factor or mechanical devices like stirrers operate in the tank. Displacer Level Switches

DISPLACER LEVEL SWITCHESare the most versatile for level control and have advantages over float type switches in the control of agitated liquids paints-varnishes & heavy oil and foaming liquids. The Displacer weight is heavier than the liquid which is suspended by a spring. When the liquid rises the displacer looses the weight, this causes the spring to retract slightly to a new equilibrium position. This retract of the spring interchanges the position of the Magnet provided at the top and actuates the switch. Upto three independent switch junctions are available in the single unit, with broad choice of operating sequences. It is based on buoyancy principle and is available in different material of construction for a variety of switching functions. Vibrating Fork Level Switch

VIBRATING FORK LEVEL SWITCHEwork on vibration damping principal and are used for material with low densities where rotary paddle switches can not be used. The vibrations also provide self cleaning action, so these level switches can easily be used for materials that stick to probe and tank wall. The electronically stimulated fork vibrates at its mechanically resonance frequency of 125 Hz when the fork is free of the service material. The resonance is caused by the piezoelectric crystals. One of the Piezo crystals produces a small voltage which is transmitted to the switching amplifier. If the fork is covered by the bulk material, a damping effect is produced and the Piezo crystal does not produce the voltage and the amplifier will be switched on and a corresponding signal output is actuated. Small depositions on the container wall do not affect the operation of our switch.
The switches are supplied with integral electronics and are available in lengths from 250 to 3000 mm. TheVibrating Fork Level Switchesare extensively used in building, cement, food dairy, plastic, timber, chemical and mining industries. The operating temperature for standard model is 150 Deg C and can be custom made to suit temperature up to 200 DegC.
These switches are supplied with heavy duty SS316 forks and can be successfully used for most applications like - bins and hoppers requiring minimum and maximum level detection of solids, powders, granules, pellets, flakes, etc. These are not affected by incoming material. Top Mounted Float Level Switch

The VEKSLERTOP MOUNTED FLOAT LEVEL SWITCH(TLS-19) is highly reliable and a low cost instrument. It can be used for small tanks as well as large vessels depending upon individual customer's requirement.
It consists of a guide pipe made from SS 304/SS 316, a magnetic float of SS 316 that moves on the tube with rise and fall of level. Hermetically sealed reed switches are housed in the guide pipe. The switches can be fixed at any position through out the length of the pipe. But the position should be defined at the time of order as it cannot be changed at site. The factory set accuracy is +/-5mm. Since it works on magnetic principle, there is no mechanical connection and hence the chances of any wear/tear, fluid contamination are eliminated.
The process connection is 3 NB Flange as per ASA 150# or any other standard as per individuals requirement. The Floats are hydro tested to work at 15 Kg/cm2. Floats for higher pressure can also be supplied. The working temperature is 90 Deg C.
These are very useful for Diesel/Furnace Oil Day tanks and are supplied with IP65/EX-PROOF Gr 11A & 11B enclosures. The other applications include vending machines, small tanks, pumping stations, water tanks. Optional Relay units are available for higher current ratings.
It can be wired with low load; however high resistive/inductive loads should be connected in series through control unit. This instruments is PC/PLC < DCS, Alarm Annunciator configurable.

  • Extraction or filling of material exerts various mechanical forces on anything that protrudes inside the vessel. Long insertions of sensors from the sides of the vessel are prone to damage.
The sensing probe head is Explosion proof to cover the terminals of the R signal cable. The probe contains no electronics or any other sensitive element. The Electronic Controller may be inbuilt/separately housed in a dust proof enclosure and is suitable for outdoor duty. It can be mounted at a convenient location near the sensor. It contains the main circuitry and should be connected through a coaxial cable to the Sensing Probe.
