The Quadrant Scale is intended for measuring the Basis Weight (GSM) of Paper and other sheet materials by weighing a small Test Sample with given dimensions. Scales are calibrated to Precision Dead Weights. This accuracy is maintained as long as the pendulum returns to its original form and is kept free from corrosion, distortion, or other causes, which may affect its weight and balance.
GSM measuring range is available for 0 -125GSM/ 250GSM /500GSM & 1000 GSM.

This Equipment determines the Bursting Strength of Paper. The Specimen is clamped between two concentric plates, each having circular opening in the center.The Uniform Pressure is produced by an Electric Motor & Gear and the Plunger reverses automatically after rupture. This saves the testing time and increases Rubber Membrane Diaphragm's life. The Bursting Pressure, at the time of Rupture is recorded on a Sensitive Pressure Gauge as well as on the Digital Display Panel, which indicates the Test Results in Kg./Cm² or in PSI Units. The Equipment is operated through a Key Pad on the front Panel, enabling to feed the GSM of Paper in the Test Data which resultsin, the Burst Factor (B.F) also.

This Equipment determines the Bursting Strength of Paper and Paperboard. It is Designed for Pneumatic Clamping of samples to avoid slippage under adjustable clamping force. The Test Piece is clamped between two concentric plates, each having circular opening in the center. The Pressure is applied to the under side of a Test Piece by a rubber Membrane diaphragm, which is expanded by the Uniform hydraulic pressure, produced through an Electric Motor & Gear.
