Weighting Agents

UMC-BAR is a pure grade barite, barium sulphate, primarily used as weighting material for water and oil based drilling fluids. UMC-HEM is a modified iron ore which has been milled to fine powder having a specific gravity of 4.8-5.1. It is of moderate high density and suitable as weighting agent for drilling muds.UMC-KAL KARB is an acid soluble weighting and bridging agent for utilization in drilling work, work over and completion fluids. UMC-KAL KARB is available in three sizes: Fine, Medium and Coarse.
