M/s Union Scientific Traders (UNISC) was incorporated in the year 1946 to manufacture and produce scientific instruments, laboratory equipment and educational material for the Schools, Colleges, Universities and research laboratories The firm has been serving the educational institutions all over the world for the last 54 years. In the initial years of its inception, the firm catered to the requirements of institutions in Pakistan, Ceylon and Burma. Subsequently Unisc made forays in the South East Asian overseas markets of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand in seventies. Union Scientific Traders has been awarded a large number of international contracts in Sudan Ethiopia, Kuwait, Yemen, Jordan, Kenya, Philippines, Iraq, Zambia, Ghana & Sri Lanka. All these contracts have been won by Unisc in global bidding of the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank.

LANDMARKS
In the history of independent India, UNISC was awarded a single global contract of US $ three millions by the Government of Sudan for the supply of educational equipment to the schools in Sudan in 1980. Our President Late Sh. G.C. Jain was invited by General Nemierie, the President of Sudan to address the Sudanese Parliament for the up gradation of primary and secondary school laboratories in Sudan in 1980. In the year 1978 our President late Sh. G.C. Jain was invited by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India and the Trade Development Authority to study the European Economic Community ( E.E.C.) Market in Brussels and Amsterdam for Scientific and educational equipment.
