UNICOS” HEAVY DUTY WATER SUCTION AND DISCHARGE HOSE SPECIFICATION : CONFORMS TO IS:3549/1983 TYPE 1, 2 AND 3 (MINES SLURRY WATER DISCHARGE HOSE – PROJECT QUALITY) APPLICATION: A heavy duty water suction and discharge hose for various uses encounterering severe service conditions in fire fighting, irrigation, agriculture, building industry, sewer cleaning, dam sites, mines and ships where a strong yet flexible hose is needed. Inner lining is specially designed for slurry water containing ironore particles for dewatering open cast and underground mines. Available in smooth or rough bore double wire embedded having plain or corrugated outer suface and with or witout built-in end connections. Available from 2″ to 16″ internal diameter.

17. “UNICOS” SUPER SATURATED STEAM HOSE      APPLICATION: These are used for all applications involving supply of super saturated       steam in dairies, paper mills, foundries, sugar mills and fertilizer plants etc. These      hoses conist of special elastomer (EPDM) for excellent resistance to high pressure      steam at a temperature of 150 to 300 degrees F and have wire braided reinforcement.

“UNICOS” OIL SUCTION AND DISCHARGE HOSE (HEAVY DUTY) APPLICATION: These hoses are specially designed and built for loading & unloading petroleum  products from tankers and barges in refineries and oil installations for dock and offshore operations. Manufactured in two kinds viz. Rough and smooth bore and are usually supplied with built-in MS flanges and nipples. These hoses are best suited for bulk unloading of edible oils, palmoline, fatty  acid oils, cbfs feedstock, mollasses, phenol and hazardrous liquid cargo in bulk handling units at ports and are prefered due to the ruggedness & safe operation of hose in severe working conditions.

“UNICOS” SAND AND SHOT/GRIT BLASTING HOSE SPECIFICATION : CONFORMS TO IS:5894/1980 TYPE 1 AND TYPE 2 APPLICATION: Hose used for blasting of dry or wet sand and abrasives in industries, process plants   workshops and in surface cleaning & painting jobs. Specially compounded extra-thick soft inner lining           used for conveying sand/grit from hopper to discharge nozzle using compressed air. Hose is available            in both regular and heavy duty applications in braided reinforcement with antistatic copper wire in        maximum length of 30 meter.

“UNICOS” CABLE COOLANT HOSE (CARBON FREE) APPLICATION: Designed for the cooling and protection of cables from high temperatures on welding  machines, melting furnaces etc in steel plants, mini steel plants and foundries. These are made   from special neoprene blended carbon free compound with non-conduting white lining and red/green   outer cover. Available with or without asbestos cover.
