The carrier plate can be fitted with four identical or differing aluminum quarters, allowing up to 36 reaction vessels to be processed at the same time. The aluminum quarters guarantee optimal heat transfer throughout the process with no interference to the magnetic field. This ensures that all the containers are processed at the same temperature and that the contents are uniformly mixed. The different colours used for the various quarters makes them easier to distinguish. |

The reaction block allows synthesis to be carried out in round flasks at temperatures of up to 180 C. This system ensures optimal heat transfer from the heating plate directly into the medium. Uniform mixing is also guaranteed because there is no interference to the magnetic field from the aluminum blocks. The PTFE coating prevents burning and ensures that working with the system is safe. Reaction blocks are available in three standard sizes. These can be adapted to various flask sizes using the appropriate inserts. |

The multi-channel pump model Tower II consists of 2 - 9 pumps in a common housing. The configuration is implemented according to customer specifications. The unit is operated either by the built-in control panel with alphanumeric display or by PC based systems. You can start all pumps simultaneous with individual preset pumping parameters. This gives great flexibility to the user, who can set up quick experiments without first having to program a pumping sequence via PC based software. Once the pump parameters have been ascertained the user can easily adopt them in a program and run the system from a computer. |

The system consists of a dispensing unit similar to the motorized Contiburette in addition to a detachable microprocessor controlled programming and operating key-pad. The keypad has a 16-digit, 2-line backlit alphanumeric LCD display, showing both the set and actual volumes. There are 3 function and 2 hot-keys, plus an analogue encoder-wheel, enabling fast data entry and intuitive adjustment of the set values. All relevant parameters, e.g. volume, flow-rate, flow direction, are input via the keypad, which can operate remotely when detached from the Liquid-processor A choice of units of volume and flow-rate can be pre-programmed, e.g. l, ml, mg, g, l/s, ml/min. . Wetted parts are all Al2O3 and the fluoric plastic ETFE. They have an excellent chemical resistance to almost all liquids used in the lab. An ergonomically designed handset Hand manipulator enables one-handed remote sampling and dispensing of liquids. The Manual function key is used to fill and empty the system. It also controls interactive dispensing, such as when finding a titration endpoint. In Manual mode, the encoder-wheel is used to dispense the liquid, whilst the display shows the actual volume delivered. Initiation of the programs controlling applications such as diluting, dispensing and pipetting is done through the Program Select key. The Liquid-processor has a RS232 interface as standard (1200-4800, 8, N, 1) and enables the remote control of all functions. In this configuration, a PC can access the Liquid-processor via an exclusive address (daisy chain). This address is programmable for each unit. For quick and easy programming a Windows Software program is available as an optional extra, to give the user instant PC control (CAT LabControl for Windows, see Accessories). |

There are 2 interface configurations available: Cabled(Basic) Plug-an-play interface. Available with (USB (standard. PS2 or RS232 interfaces. All cables uses rugged automatic locking adapters that allow users to change cables while preventing inadvertent disconnections. Batch (Basic + Battery) Cables and Store and Forward capacity in one unit. Simply detach the scanner from the computer, capture data remotely and reconnect to the computer. Bio-Simplex Sampling Manifold Systems are available with either four, six, eight or ten 60mL sampling bottles and an additional 500mL purge bottle at the end of the manifold. Each 60mL PETG bottle is connected to the Bio-Simplex manifold with 10 inches of tubing with a clamp, an EZ Top container closure, a 0.2 m vent filter and polyethylene cap. All EZ Top, tubing and manifolds are made from animal derived component free (ADCF) pharmaceutical grade C-Flex thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) resin engineered to ensure an unobstructed fluid path, a secure elastomeric seal against each bottle with extremely low levels of extractables. |
