Viton O-Rings(FKM) have excellent resistance to may fluids, and are suitable for use where high temperature resistance is required. The DIN/ISO 1629 standard designated FPM as the abbreviation. The trademark name Viton, is a product of Dupont Elastomers. FKMs, or fluoroelastomers was the product of Dupont originally. Today, companies that manufacture FKMs include Solvay Specialty Polymers, Daikin Chemical, HaloPolymer and 3M.
