Operating Principle :

  • Electronics of LFV excites the piezo-electric-crystals inside tuning fork, which makes the fork tines vibrate at their natural resonance frequency in free air.
  • When fork tines are immersed in liquid, the frequency of fork vibration falls due to the density of liquid.
  • This change in frequency is detected by electronic circuit of LFV.
  • Presence of liquid is thus detected.

Operating Principle :

  • A Sine wave of high frequency is fed into both Sensing Rod as well as Compensation Shield.
  • Voltage at shield is equal to the voltage at sense, no effective current flows between sense and shield.
  • This removes shield-sense capacitance from the measurement.
  • Shield-earth capacitance is simply ignored by not measuring it.
  • This removes the effect of material coating on probe.

Operating Principle :

  • Earth Extension (body) Sensing Rod
  • The capacitance is formed by the sense rod and earth extension.
  • When no material is present, the capacitance is analogically a multiple of probe dimension and dielectric constant of air ε(air) ≈ 1.
  • When material is present, the capacitance gets multiplied by dielectric constant of the material.
  • This variation in capacitance is then translated into switching output by the device.

Operating Principle :

  • Trumen rotating paddle level switches are spring loaded eccentricaly driven rotating vanes or blades, which rotate at a slow roational speed of 3rpm maximum, using a geared motor.
  • When material is absent, rotating vanes are free to move and motor is held to its normal position by a spring.
  • When material level reaches the rotating vanes, it tries to stop the rotation. This causes motor move in reverse as the spring can no longer hold it in its normal position.
  • When motor rotates to a suffient degree, a limit switch gets triggered. This stops the power supply to the motor and another limit switch provides potential free output.

Operating Principle :

  • Trumen rotating paddle level switches are spring loaded eccentricaly driven rotating vanes or blades, which rotate at a slow roational speed of 3rpm maximum, using a geared motor.
  • When material is absent, rotating vanes are free to move and motor is held to its normal position by a spring.
  • When material level reaches the rotating vanes, it tries to stop the rotation. This causes motor move in reverse as the spring can no longer hold it in its normal position.
  • When motor rotates to a suffient degree, a limit switch gets triggered. This stops the power supply to the motor and another limit switch provides potential free output.
