Trident Alloys can provide a wide variety of Monel fasteners including; Monel nuts, Monel bolts, sockets, washers and more Monel Fasteners. If we do not have your Monel Fasteners in stock (Inch or Metric) we can have these manufactured to your specification.
Material NotesCompared to steel, Monel is very difficult to machine as it work-hardens very quickly. It needs to be turned and worked at slow speeds and low feed rates. It is resistant to corrosion and acids, and some alloys can withstand a fire in pure oxygen. It is commonly used in applications with highly corrosive conditions. Small additions of aluminium and titanium form an alloy (K-500) with the same corrosion resistance but with much greater strength due to gamma prime formation on aging. Monel is typically much more expensive than stainless steel.
Monel alloy 400 has a specific gravity of 8.83, an electrical conductivity of approximately 3.4% IACS, and (in the annealed state) a hardness of 65 Rockwell B.[3].

Hastelloy® fasteners, such as Hastelloy C276 fasteners, are made from nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy that is generally considered a versatile highly Corrosin Resistant alloy. Hastelloy fasteners have excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing media which makes it well suited for a variety of strong corrosive applications. Hastelloy fasteners also have exceptional resistance to both sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
Because Hastelloy fasteners resist some of the most severe media, Hastelloy fasteners are often utilized in chemical processing applications where acid chlorides, solvents, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, wet chlorine gas, hypochlorites, chlorine solutions and phosphoric acid are used. For chemical processing applications, Hastelloy C276 is the most common grade and one of the most corrosion resistant nickel alloys - exceeding that of most other nickel alloy grades like Inconel or Monel.
We are one of the leading Manufacturer, Exporter and Supplier of High quality Carbon Steel Fasteners in mumbai, India. We also offer a complete range of Carbon Steel Fasteners such as Bolts, Nuts, Washer, Screw, threaded rod and stainless screws etc. These Carbon Steel Fasteners are widely used in various application industry. These Carbon Steel Fasteners are available in different size, shapes, grades, specification & thickness as per the clients requirments. We provide products as per DIN, ANSI, JIS standards.
Inconel® fasteners, like Inconel 600, 601, 625, 686, 718 & 725 fasteners, are a family of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys used for their high strength at elevated temperatures and good corrosion resistance. Because of its high thermal stability, Inconel can be used in service temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 2200°F (982°C). The high alloy content of Inconel fasteners enable it to withstand a wide variety of severe corrosive environments. In mild environments, such as the atmosphere, sea water, neutral salts, and alkaline media, there is almost no attack to Inconel fasteners. In more severe corrosive environments the combination of nickel and chromium provides resistance to oxidizing chemicals, whereas the high nickel and molybdenum contents supply resistance to nonoxidizing environments. Because Inconel fasteners offer a good balance of corrosion resistance, temperature stability, toughness and strength they are often a material of choice for chemical processing, aerospace, marine, electronics and oil & gas.
PTFE coated fastener’s provides exceptional corrosion resistance, low coefficient of friction, consistent tensioning and subsequent ease of installation and removal. Extensive testing and field use have proven that the future of coated fastener’s lies with Fluoropolymer coatings. Previously hot dip, galvanized, cadium or zinc plated fastener’s were considered the standard. But these coatings could not stand up to the corrosive atmospheres prevalent in many industries. The most widely used application is on B7 studs with 2H nuts. Dramatic improvements in efficiency, life expectancy and corrosion resistance are claimed to be imparted to Nut and Bolt connectors by the application of a low friction PTFE coating. PTFE coated connectors have out-performed all others in aggressive any noticeable effect.
