Soft skills are most important traits that characterize a persons relation with other people. At a workplace, soft skills are considered a complement to hard skills, which refer to a persons knowledge and occupational skills. Sociologists may use the term soft skills to describe a persons EQ or Emotional Intelligence Quotient. Soft skills have more to do with who you are than what you know. As such, soft skills encompass the character traits that decide how well one interacts with others, and are usually a definite part of ones personality. Whereas hard skills can be learned and perfected over time, soft skills are more difficult to acquire and change. According to the research done by Harvard University, the Carnegie foundation and Stanford research centre, 85% of job success comes from having well-developed soft skills and people skills, and only 15 % of the job success comes from technical and knowledge (Hard Skills). Tribe21 believes that a language learner needs to be actively involved in the process of learning, by improving and practicing reading, writing, speaking and listening. At Tribe21, trainer will introduce language to you and will give the opportunity to practice it in pairs and groups. All of your classes will be varied, interesting and relevant to your needs. Each class will have a maximum of twenty trainees* but not for IELTS where the training is one-on-one. This way the trainers can give more individual attention to each trainee. At Tribe21 Learning Center (TLC), learning doesnt just happen in training rooms. All trainees are entitled to free membership of the Tribe21s TLC while they are registered for specific courses. TLC offers a wide range of books and audio-visual materials which can be used to improve your language skills. We at Tribe21 usually provide language training on English but are not confined to it. Depending on the number of people and the availability of the trainer, we provide trainings on Spanish, French, German, Arabic and Kashmiri as well.
