Overview : Extending over an area of 440 sq. km, this national park was established in the year 1968. Renowned as the game reserves of the royal kings of Rewa, Bandhavgarh's Royal Bengal Tiger species is the one which attracts tourists every year. Jeep safari in Bandhavgarh is an exhilarating experience. At the break of the dawn, the tourists are escorted by the naturalists so that the tourists get the real view of the wildlife. Overview: Extending over an area of 13, 019 sq. kms, this national park is reckoned to have the greatest Tiger reserve in India. Named after the legendary Jim Corbett, a figure known in the domain of conversationalists, naturalists and photographers, this sanctuary is the abode of tigers, elephant, Yellow throated Martens, hog deer, Himalayan bear, Leopards, Nightjars, Barking, Otters and the Bengal Tiger. Overview:Bearing a royal significance, Ranthambore National Park offers a spectacle of the wild animals in their predatory forms. An example of Rajasthan's Project Tiger conservation, this is also the home for a number of other rarefied species of wildlife such as Langur, leopard, hyena, wild boar, bear, marsh crocodile, jackal, deer, etc. The year 1957 gained it the name of a wildlife sanctuary and 1981 saw it emerging as a national park. The Padam Talao and the Jogi Mahal form unique feature of this national park where the chief food source is the wild buffalo, boar and the swamp deer called the Barasinsga. Overview:Located in the district of Alwar in Rajasthan, This tiger reserve used to be the hunting spot for the family of Alwar. Extended over an area of 800 sq. kms and a core area accounting to 500 sq. kms, this is the abode of some of the rare species such as Leopard, Wild Dog, Jungle Cat, Jackal, Tiger and Civets Hyena. Sambar, Langur, Chausingha, Monkey, Nilgai and Wild Boar form the diet of the animals. Rhesus monkeys are also known to be found in abundance in the reserve.
