The Toshniwal Rotary Cone Vacuum Dryer is the perfect solution for drying temperature sensitive powder products. The Toshniwal Rotary Cone Vacuum Dryer is a result of a collaboration between our Process Powder and Process Vacuum teams. With decades of experience in catering to the pharma and chemical sector in India, our Vacuum engineers have contributed towards the design of this product. The jacketed (Double-walled) Cone chamber with desired drying medium like hot-water, steam or Oil is in constant rotary motion to expose maximum drying surface to powder product. Coupled with Toshniwal Vacuum pumps, we are able to achieve a homogeneous and dry powder product in relatively short cycle times.

Toshniwal Paddle Shaft dryers are built around our very successful and widely used Twin Shaft Paddle Mixer design. Open type variant and Closed type variants are available. The Open System is designed in such a way that makes ambient air blow into the drying system. The air warms up in a heater before blowing into the drying chamber. The hot air is inserted on both side towards the paddles in the dryer. The paddles bring the air through the material, up to the fluidized zone where the particles can be lifted to create a larger surface area to increase the drying rate. The moist air is blown out of the dryer with fine particles which collect in the filter bags, kept in the exhaust side of the dryer. Close System has the heated air blown into the mixer along with the moist product. The heat exchange makes the moisture evaporate from the product. Moist air passes through the filter before it is sucked into the fan. The air is then blown through the cooler for condensation before it is reheated. When drying very moist products, the wet product is mixed with dry first, to ensure that the fluidisation and the high drying rate is maintained.

This meter utilizes the Coriolis force for flow measurement. The omega loop has proven itself particularly suitable for this process. The measuring tubes, which are bent to omega loops, are completed by two measuring bars and vertically secured torsion bars to create a harmonious oscillator. This carefully balanced and robust design has an extremely low power input. The frequency of the system essentially depends on the mass of the bars and the elasticity module of the torsion bars. Two electromagnetic coils set the system in motion. As soon as liquid or gas flows through the oscillating omega tubes, the resultant Coriolis force causes displacement of the tubes. The comparative relationship is established and the change in displacement is proportional to the mass flow.
FEATURESThe Toshniwal Single Shaft Powder Mixer is an ideal solution for high through-put, economical mixing and meant for adding shear. The unique single paddle design divides the housing into zones each served by at least two paddles. All moving particles create a dynamic interaction between the zones. Voids are created mechanically and particles are directed to randomly fill the voids. The high volume of voids created achieves the speed of mixing. Accuracy is achieved by limiting the size of the void so particles do not roll apart.
