Instrumentation Cables are used in process control field. It usually contains a pair of wires with a foil shield which would connect a process instrument (temperature, pressure, flow sensor etc.) to the process controller.
Tony Cablesmanufactures all types of Instrumentation cables. Our range includes Pair, Triad and Quad. These are available as armoured or unarmoured Cables with over all aluminum polyester tape and ATC drain.
Salient features:
Facilitates low attenuation to Low Level Signals from Electronic Transmitters, thus enabling its smooth communication.
Power Cable is a made of two or more electrical conductors assembled together in an overall sheath. It operates at relatively high electrical stress. It can be installed as permanent wiring, buried in the ground, run overhead or exposed.
Tony Cablesmanufactures a large range of Power Cables available in plain Annealed Copper and insulated with high quality PVC.
Salient features:
Coaxial Cableis a Cable consisting of an inner conductor, surrounded by an insulating layer made from a flexible material with a high dielectric constant. It is then surrounded by another conductive layer (typically of fine woven wire for flexibility, or of a thin metallic foil), and then finally covered again with a thin insulating layer on the outside.
Tony Cables manufactures high quality coaxial cables available in different types such as RG-59, RG-6, RG-8, RG-11, RG-218, RG-58, RG-62 etc.
Salient features:
Shielded Cableis a Cable with one or more insulated conductors enclosed by a common conductive layer. The shield may be composed of braided strands of copper (or other metal), a non-braided spiral winding of copper tape, or a layer of conducting polymer. Usually, this shield is covered with a jacket. The shield reduces electromagnetic radiation that may interfere with other devices.
Tony Cablesspecializes in manufacture ofFlexible Screen Cablesof various types. These Cables are available in specification of 7/36 to 25 sq. m. We can provide option of 2 core to 24 core Cable. We also manufacture screen armoured Cables, customized to clients requirements.
Flexible Cables are Cables specially designed to cope with the tight bending radii and physical stress associated with moving applications, such as inside Cable carriers.
Tony Cablesmanufactures specialist, highly Flexible Cables were developed with unique characteristics to differentiate them from standard designs. These are sometimes known as Chain-Suitable, High-Flex or Continuous Flex Cables.
Salient features:
Cables are manufactured using Annealed copper conductor with PVC insulation.
Single and Muliti-core flexible Cables manufactured as per IS-694 specifications.
The fire alarm systems use the Co-axial trunk Cables. These Cables are ideal for multi channel applications. The central conductor is made of Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA).Tony Cablesspecializes in manufacturing high quality fire alarm Cables.
Salient features:
Multiplexes, Malls and high rise buildings are norm of the day. A full complement of Cables for control, connectivity, alarm, security, sound, water sprinkles, CCTV camera and building management systems are required.
A system failure due to malfunction or loss of continuity or poor workmanship of quality and material can be catastrophic. The cost of relaying will be astronomical than to the cost of initial procurement and laying. Hence our emphasis is therefore in achieving the optimum quality targets. The following are our quality management principles.
Quality must be defined as conformance to the exacting requirements not merely aesthetics.
Selection of best of raw-materials and pre-manufacturing shop - floor testing to give zero-defects performance.
Designing, processing and inter-stage checks during progressive manufacturing is the hallmark of quality.
Final product rigorous testing for quality is the motto of the companys dedication to total quality as conformance to applications.
Our ranges of Cables on building automation are following types:
Security and fire alarm Cables
Communication and control Cables 1p2p4p
CCTV camera Co-axial Cables
Audio and P.A. System Cables
Access Control & Building Management Systems
The finished products are thoroughly checked for high voltage integrity, resistivity, capacitance, inductance and other vital parameters before the professionally tangle-proof packings for transportations to the site to perform as per our established name for quality performance.
When taking connection from a Thermocouple to Instruments which are some distance away, either by Permanent Wiring or Flexible Cable, it is essentials to use materials having the same EMF output as the Thermocouple combination else spurious EMF can be generated at the junctions.
The best solution is to use leads of the same alloys as the Thermocouple. These are usually called Extension leads and are supplied as Extension lead quality, normally reffered to as KX, JX, TX, AND EX. Where this solution would be too expensive, comparatively cheaper alloys of different types from the Thermocouple combinations are used. These combinations have an EMF matched as closely as possible to the Thermocouple alloys although the EMF of the individual legs is not usually the same.
These Materials are termed as Compensating leads and generally give adequate compensation for EMFs generation junctions. Compensating Cables have, within a limited temprature range, the same Thermo Electric characteristics as the actual Thermocouple wires. Therefore, by using such Cables to interconnect between the Thermocouple connection head and the measuring instruments or cold junction compensators, the cold junction is relocated at the measuring instruments or cold junction compensators.
