Weigh In Motion System

Vishwakarma became Indias first company to introduce Medium Speed Weigh In Motion system, which can work proficiently up to a speed of 60 kmph. Its innovative design comprises of bending plate with strain gauges bonded to the underside along with highly optimized indicator to capture and transfer flawless data. The bending plate has two upstanding beams to construct a strong boundary condition. When the vehicle drives through the effective areas of the bending plate, strain gauges installed will react to the shape change of the bending plate, which then can output an electronic signal for instruments to calculate the weight of the vehicle and to display it. The system records the strain measured by strain gauges and calculates the dynamic load. The accuracy of these systems is much higher than other available technology systems. Its innovative design makes easy installation and less maintenance.
