AC Current Sensor

We are a well-known Manufacturer, Exporter & Supplier of AC Current Sensor. The Hall Effect is an ideal sensing technology. The Hall element is constructed from a thin sheet of conductive material with output connections perpendicular to the direction of current flow. When subjected to a magnetic field, it responds with an output voltage proportional to the magnetic field strength. The voltage output is very small (V) and requires additional electronics to achieve useful voltage levels. When the Hall element is combined with the associated electronics, it forms a Hall Effect sensor. The heart of every MICRO SWITCH Hall effect device is the integrated circuit chip that contains the Hall element and the signal conditioning electronics. The XYZ consists of a precise, low-temperature drift linear hall Sensor IC with temperature compensation circuit and a current transformer with 0.24 Ohm typical internal conductor resistance. This extremely low resistance can effectively reduce power loss, operating temperature and increase the reliability greatly. Applied current flowing through this conduction path generates a magnetic field which I s sensed by the integrated Hall IC and converted into a proportional voltage. Working Principle : Theory of the Hall Effect :When a current-carrying conductor is placed into a magnetic field, a voltage will be generated perpendicular to both the current and the field. This principle is known as the Hall Effect. Figure 2-1 illustrates the basic principle of the Hall Effect. It shows a thin sheet of semiconducting material (Hall element) through which a current is passed. The output connections are Perpendicular to the direction of current. When no magnetic field is present (Figure 2-1), current distribution is uniform and no potential difference is seen across the output. When a perpendicular magnetic field is present, as shown in Figure 2-2, a Lorentz force is exerted on the current. This force disturbs the current distribution, resulting in a potential difference (voltage) across the output. This voltage is the Hall voltage (VH). The interaction of the magnetic field and the current is shown in equation form as equation 2.1. Advantages :
  • Very economical
  • Can measure both DC and AC current
  • Current sensing is easy
Applications :
  • Current sensing
  • Power sensing
  • Proximity detection
  • Speed detection

Flex Sensor

Our company holds expertise in manufacturing, exporting & supplying of Flex Sensor. We have a team of skilled engineers who accurately designs and manufactures the Flex Sensor using cutting-edge technology and high quality parts and components. The Flex Sensor we offer is demanded for its efficient functioning, long lasting performance, durability and reliability. Highlights :
  • The impedance buffer in the [Basic Flex Sensor Circuit] (above) is a single sided operational amplifier, used with these sensors because the low bias current of the op amp reduces error due to source impedance of the flex sensor as voltage divider. Suggested op amps are the LM358 or LM324
  • You can also test your flex sensor using the simplest circuit, and skip the op amp.
  • Adjustable Buffer- a potentiometer can be added to the circuit to adjust the sensitivity range
  • Variable Deflection Threshold Switch- an op amp is used and outputs either high or low depending on the voltage of the inverting input. In this way you can use the flex sensor as a switch without going through a microcontroller
  • Resistance to Voltage Converter - use the sensor as the input of a resistance to voltage converter using a dual sided supply op-amp. A negative reference voltage will give a positive output. Should be used in situations when you want output at a low degree of bending
Mechanical Specifications :
  • Life Cycle : >1 million
  • Height : 0.43mm (0.017")
  • Temperature Range : -35oC to +80oC
Electrical Specifications :
  • Flat Resistance : 25K Ohms
  • Resistance Tolerance : ±30%
  • Bend Resistance Range : 45K to 125K Ohms (depending on bend radius)

Tilt Sensor

We are one of the leading Manufacturers, Exporters & Suppliers of Tilt Sensor. The Tilt Sensor operates on 5V dc supply. It gives 3 output voltages corresponding to 3 axis movement of sensor. The Tilt Sensor is widely used for monitoring the boom angle of cranes and material handlers, indicating pitch and roll of vehicles sail boats, and aircraft, etc. We supply excellently performing and durable Tilt Sensor at competitive prices. Working Principle :The ADXL335 is a complete 3-axis acceleration measurement system. The ADXL335 has a measurement range of 3 g minimum. It contains a polysilicon surface-micro machined sensor and signal conditioning circuitry to implement open-loop acceleration measurement architecture. The output signals are analog voltages that are proportional to acceleration. The accelerometer can measure the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion, shock, or vibration. The sensor is a polysilicon surface-micro machined structure built on top of a silicon wafer. Polysilicon springs suspend the structure over the surface of the wafer and provide a resistance against acceleration forces. Deflection of the structure is measured using a differential capacitor that consists of independent fixed plates and plates attached to the moving mass. The fixed plates are driven by 180o out-of-phase square waves. Acceleration deflects the moving mass and unbalances the differential capacitor resulting in a sensor output whose amplitude is proportional to acceleration. Phase-sensitive demodulation techniques are then used to determine the magnitude and direction of the acceleration. Applications :
  • Indicating pitch and roll of vehicles sail boats, and aircraft
  • Monitoring the boom angle of cranes and material handlers
  • Measuring the "look angle" of a satellite antenna towards a satellite
  • In the field of robotics or fall detection
