Spiral Fin Tubes

Continuous type spiral fin tubes with crimped fins gives 80 % high efficiency than bare tube . More over it is wound with tension which gives rigid grip. This is the most commonly used fin tubes for industrial purpose. Having low cost & high efficiency. Material of base tube is M.S. S.S.CopperAluminum brass etc. Commonly used fin material is M.S.S.S.CopperAluminum etc. Common bare tube size is 38 to 4 size. Fins per inch will be from 6 to 9.

Extruded Finned Tubes

  • Diameter of base tube is . 15.87 mm ( 5/8”) to 50.8 mm ( 2.0”)
  • Fin tube outer diameter 25.4 mm. ( 1.0”) to 88 mm (3.5”).
  • Material of base tube Steel/copper/aluminum/titanium/brass.
  • Fin material aluminum & copper.
  • Fin thickness 0.30 mm to 1 mm.
  • Fin Height 16 mm. maximum.
  • Fin pitch 8 to 11 fins per inch.

OurExtruded Finned Tubesprovide the greatest resistance to atmospheric corrosion. The aluminum fin material completely encloses the tube, except at the ends where a tube coating can be applied. Where atmospheric corrosion is present and when operated within design temperature limits, extruded finned tubesprovide the most stable performance over time as compared to the other fin types. The fin is rolled from an outer aluminum tube by a process using pressure to create a rolled "pressure bond" between the liner tube and fins.
