Limiting Orifice Valve

Specially designed Limiting Orifice valve by THERM PROCESS is mainly used to set desired Gas / Air flow at the nozzle mix burner. The flow can be adjusted precisely with screw driver. Turning of screw Counterclockwise / clockwise will increase / decrease the gas flow respectively.

Delta Pre Heater

the system is specifically designed for curing of delta monolithic lining. The total installation requires space of about 12 sq.mtr & can be conveniently located in sms bay.

the typical curing cycle shall be 36-48 hours as recommended by refractory supplier

the duly lined delta shall be placed on circular support casing with combustion chamber.

a monoblock burner suitable for lpg/png is fitted on combustion chamber. The burner operation is totally automatic with built in blower, auto ignition & auto cut off.

once the delta is placed, the burner can be started with "burner on' push button provided on control panel.

the temperature controller provided on panel can be programmed to 8 ramp / soak cycles. The burner shall operate as per signals from temperature controller & thermocouple.

at the end of the cycle system stops automatically.

Porous Plug Cleaning System

  • Therm process is pleased to introduce New Oxygen washing control system to save costly Oxygen / Argon / Nitrogen

  • Process

    Normally Oxygen washing operator cannot see Argon / Nitrogen purging process as both are on opposite side of Laddle.Oxygen washing operator does not know if porous plug is cleaned or not hence keeps Oxygen flame ONThereby damaging costly refractory & causing wastage of Oxygen.
  • Similarly Argon / Nitrogen purging process is not sure whether the plug is cleaned, hence keeps unnecessarily Argon supply ON
  • The stopping of Oxygen & Argon is mostly carried out by assumptions & approximation.

Improvement

A Control box is provided with valves to regulate Argon / Nitrogen flow.Existing Argon / Nitrogen line shall be connected to control box inlet & outlet shall be connected to Ladle porous plug point.A flow switch & Argon solenoid valve is provided in control box.When plug is cleaned the Argon / Nitrogen flow starts.This gives flasher signal to Oxygen washing operator to stop.The signal also stop Argon gas automatically through solenoid valve.
