The kaarigars was formed to promote the shrinking community of pichwai artists in udaipur with the primary objective of reviving the lost art of pichwais.These artists still use natural stone pigments and real gold & silver in their paintings much like in ancient times. The techniques and knowhow has been passed on to them through generations and they have continued to keep it alive.
