We manufacture ready mixes that focuses on “convenience” “nutrition” “easy-to-cook” These products fall under two categories which are ready-to-cook ready-to-serve Under the ready-to-cook category a variety of millet based products are available. Millets are ancient grains cultivated in India as far back as 10,000 years and are naturally nutritious. These tiny grains are rich in fibre and packed with nutrients like proteins, calcium, folic acid, magnesium and zinc. They are a great source of energy and their alkaline nature helps reduce acidity. They are rich in photochemicals believed to lower cholesterol. They are an ideal choice for people with gluten intolerance as they are gluten free. They produce lower blood sugar levels than wheat or rice. In a fast paced life that everyone is leading, people want to spend less time in the kitchen. We want to provide an option to the customers with ready mixes that are easy to cook and yet be nutritious and tasty. With this in mind the brand “thegreenpeppers” ( Millets and More Foods Pvt Ltd) was started by Meenakshi Subramanyan. Meenakshi is passionate about cooking a variety of food items that are tasty and nutritious. She wanted to make these products available in a ready-to-serve and ready-to-cook form. After a thorough research and a detailed survey she has introduced more than 40 products in the market which also includes millet based batters in the wet form. Meenakshi has a Masters degree in Computer Science from PSG Coimbatore. Meenakshi is the CEO of Millets and More Foods Pvt. Ltd. She is assisted in her role by Raghu Rajagopal who serves as the director on the board. Raghu is involved in NGOs called Datri and Punarjanmam. He is also involved in Ivy Mobility a mobile solutions company.
