Tempsens Split Tube Furnace has a horizontally oriented chamber with a furnace body that splits into two halves. Ability to open a furnace facilitates the operator to change the working tube easily and insets vessels like reactors with flanges which is not possible in nonsplit type furnaces. Working tubes can be easily changed to make the furnace work with variety of tube diameters. Optional features allows user to modify working environment to vacuum or particular gas surrounding (inert gas).

High-temperature furnaces are another type of laboratory furnace capable of reaching higher temperatures between 1400C up to 1800C. A high temp furnace typically consists of heating elements located on both sides of the heating chamber to ensure good thermal uniformity. Process applications for a high-temperature furnace include sintering of high-temperature materials, glass melting, and high-temperature testing of ceramics, fusion and firing processes, and powder metallurgy processes.
High-temperature furnaces are insulated with fibre material. Furnaces with fibre insulation achieve significantly shorter heating up times because of the low thermal mass.

Standard Features
Annealing furnaces are designed for the processing of SS or Copper wire, rod, strand, strip and tube products. These furnaces are ideally suited for copper, copper alloy, nickel, nickel chrome, titanium, stainless steel and refractory metals.
The furnace bottom is constructed as a shuttle, covered with good heat-conducting boards and is being moved trackless with a steering gear. Below the furnace guiding rails are installed for facilitate the running in of the shuttle.
The insulation is according to the application as well as to the maximum temperature and mainly consists of high insulating refractory light bricks. The heating spirals made of MoSi2 heating element or Silicon Carbide heating element or Kanthal A1/APM heating wire on supporting tubes are located in the three walls.
