Installation

TYPE PF7M

  • Prepare properly sized mounting hole in sheet. Do not perform any secondary operations such as deburring
  • Place fastener into recessed anvil, and place workpiece(preferably the punch side) over the shank of fastener
  • With punch and anvil surfaces parallel, apply squeezing force until the shoulder of the retainer comes in contact with the sheet material

Installation

  • Prepare properly sized mounting hole in sheet with countersink. Do not perform any secondary operations such as deburring
  • Place fastener into recessed anvil, and place workpiece (preferably the punch side) over the shank of fastener
  • With punch and anvil surfaces parallel, apply squeezing force to flare the retainer of the fastener
