The Peritron is a hand-held clinical biofeedback perineometer used for assessing the strength of the pelvic floor muscles. The device helps teach patients how to effectively perform pelvic floor exercises (kegels). Pelvic floor contraction causes air pressure in the sensor to be transferred through the connecting tube and displayed on the readout unit.
The pelvic floor muscles play an important role in maintaining continence. In the management of urinary incontinence, Biofeedback can be used for training the patients pelvic floor muscles. It has been approved and widely accepted that kegel exercises at home help patients strengthen levator muscles and improve the control over urination.
Portascan 3D Bladder Scanners intuitive design is ideal for a multitude of clinical environments, from hospital floors to physician offices. Different scanning modes are designed to match different user preferences along with advanced targeting features that make finding the bladder simple. Portascan 3D provides reliable information, thus reducing the frequency of catheterization and risk of UTIs (CAUTI). It is also a valuable tool for providing post-void residual volume (PVR) to assess possible urinary retention.
Ultrasound is a proven technology based on reflections of ultrasonic waves. Ultrasound is used to noninvasively visualize, monitor and perform measurements in the human body.
For bladder volume measurements, the bladder is differentiated from surrounding tissues by ultrasonic reflections. Its volume is then is calculated based on bladder wall detection and a clinically tested algorithm.
Ultrasound bladder scanners are commonly used in acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care environments, urology and gynecology. It is a non-invasive alternative to bladder palpation and intermittent catheterization used to assess (initial) bladder volume, urinary retention, and post-void residual volume (PVR).
The Urostym is a state-of-the-art, full clinic-based non-invasive pelvic floor rehabilitation system that provides effective treatment for different lower urinary tract dysfunctions such as urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed), fecal incontinence, constipation, urinary retention and voiding dysfunctions.
With leading-edge pre-defined protocols, user-friendly protocol customization and easy reporting function, Urostym offers the most reliable and effective pelvic floor therapy program in the world for adult and pediatric patients.
Rely on Urostym to also provide the tools to help streamline your workflow, increase productivity and maximize your return on investment.
Comprehensive Capability:Pelvic muscle rehabilitation (PMR) is a technique that uses EMG-biofeedback to improve pelvic floor strength by helping patients learn to control/contract the proper muscle groups through increased awareness. The application gives a visual representation of a change in a measured channel. Biofeedback can react on a pressure channel, an EMG channel or a combination of two channels.
The goal of biofeedback is to:Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS) involves delivering a small electrical current to the pelvic floor muscles to:
With Urostym, Stimulation is used as an adjunct to pelvic muscle exercises. Mixed biofeedback and stimulation protocols are highly effective to:
OHMEGA OVERVIEW Ambulatory Impedance-pH Recorder
Ohmega is a small, lightweight ambulatory system that combines Impedance recording and pH recording. As a result, the Ohmega detects reflux activity using Impedance and categorizes these reflux episodes as acidic or non-acidic (weakly acidic), using traditional pH measurement. Gas and mixed liquid/gas reflux episodes are analyzed as well.
The built-in Virtual Instructor Program helps you successfully complete the procedure with minimal training. Bluetooth capabilities make it possible to view and check data on a computer monitor while recording. The intelligent symptom analysis software quantifies reflux episodes quickly and simply.

Impedance-pH Reflux Measurement to Diagnose GERD What is Impedance?
Impedance measurement can be used to detect GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) and distinguish acid and weakly acidic refluxes causing symptoms.
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is caused by the reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. Typical patient symptoms are heartburn, regurgitation, and chest pain. These patient groups are often on PPI medication, but non-acidic reflux can still cause symptoms.
Traditional pH recording only records acidic pH reflux episodes. Impedance-pH detects both acidic and non-acidic reflux episodes.
Combined Impedance-pH recording is clinically useful in the evaluation of symptoms under PPI therapy, as well as for hoarseness, unexplained cough, and applications of particular interest.

The Solar Neuro Module conducts neurophysiological assessments of pelvic floor dysfunction on the same systems used for anorectal manometry and urodynamic testing. With a set of predefined neuro-physiological tests for assessing pelvic floor disorders, the Solar Neuro Module will be familiar to those already acquainted with the state-of-the-art Solar diagnostic testing system. As a result, you can use the same patient database.
The Solar Neuro Module studies the motor innervations of the sphincters and the pelvic floor, as well as the sensory innervation of the pelvic structure. Additional measurement programs available:
The complete range of neuro-diagnostic solutions. Modules complementary to the Solar GI family (Solar GI, Solar GI Compact, Solar GI HRAM) and the Solar and Nexam Pro Urodynamic Systems are:
The Solar Neuro system can be used as dedicated system (with U2M module) or in combination with the LABORIE Solar, Solar GI and Nexus Pro measurement systems.
In the diagnosis of micturition and pelvic floor disorders, common anorectal, pelvic floor and urodynamic investigations are combined with studies to investigate neurological abnormalities. Neurological studies can greatly improve the quality of the diagnosis.
Pudendal Nerve Stimulation (PNS) or Pudendal Nerve Terminal Motor Latency (PNTML) has diagnostic and prognostic value in the care of patients suffering from fecal incontinence or pelvic floor dysfunction, especially when it is important to identify and quantify the nature of the neuromuscular injury.
PNS is a common and simple study that measures the latency through a direct reflex between stimulator site and recording site. The St. Marks probe is used for latency measurement between stimulator site and recording site (anal sphincter). Pudendal nerve conduction measures the reflex via the brain. PNS can also be used for urinary incontinence studies when the sphincter is stretched after childbirth.

Flowmaster is a computer based wireless flowmeter designed for practical, everyday flow studies, when ease of use, simplicity and cost effectiveness are top priorities.
Using Bluetooth technology, Flowmaster has a wireless connection between the battery operated flow transducer and PC/laptop, eliminating all cables and power plugs. The flow transducer can be placed in another room or bathroom for optimal patient privacy.
Using the Flowmaster, recording begins automatically when the patient starts voiding. A special software algorithm reduces artifacts and selects the optimal flow/volume scales. Pre-flow and post-flow times are user-selected.
Hardware Technology:Uroflowmetry is a diagnostic screening procedure that measures the volume of urine released from the body, the speed with which it is released, and how long the release takes.
Uroflowmetry is performed by urinating into a special urinal, toilet, or disposable device that has a measuring device built in. When you finish, the machine will make a report for your healthcare provider.
The test involves normal urination, so you should not experience any discomfort. This test is useful in evaluating the function of the urinary tract.
