the preheated oil is pumped into the vacuum vessel where it is deareated. This vessel is also capable to level out variations in oil flow to the plant. After deareation the oil is continuously heated in regenerative heat exchanger, utilizing hot oil from the deodorizer. The final deodorizing temperature is achieved in a heat exchanger by thermal oil, which is circulated through an automatically working heating unit. Further, the oil enters the deodorizer where flows continuously through a number of trays via specially designed overflow channels. Each tray is equipped with special oil flow baffles in order to control the flow through the tray and prevent short-circuiting. During stock change, the trays are drained through separate drop valves.
