Freight Elevator which is commonly known as Goods Lift. Freight Elevator is used exclusively for vertical lifting of freight in a cage. The cage moves on rigid guide rails. Freight Elevator is used where material shifting within different floors of a building or workshop takes place. Fixed base mounted Twin Rope Drum Winch is used for the hoisting or lowering of the Freight Elevators. The Twin Rope Drum has a true vertical lift with a unique feature which is called Dual Load Path System. This helps in preventing fall of cage in case of rope failure. Meanwhile, for your convenience, it helps to use the lift and get the wire rope replaced.
Specifications - Cage size : From 1.0 x 1.0 x 2.0 m to 4.0 x 4.0 x 3.0 m (W D H).
- Lifting capacity : From 0.5 ton up to 5.0 ton
Safety Features Of Freight Elevator - Roller lever type floor limit switch : To allow Cage to sustain floor levels.
- Geared rotary type limit switch : To avoid over travel of the cage in Top / Lowest floor level can be avoided with the available
- Gravity type limit switch : To act as acute safety limit switch in case any or all other above switches fail or even in case the Push button contacts get welded or stuck.
