Magnetic Plates are important industrial iron separators that are used for the separation of fine ferrous materials and tramp iron from many types of free flowing and pneumatically conveyed material like corn, sugar, flour, gravel, plastic and others granular materials.

The Plate Magnets also go very well with powdery, moist, lumpy, and abrasive products and large debris that might choke, bridge, or cause rapid wear in cartridge-based separators. Plate magnets are flexible enough to be deployed above conveyors or below conveyor drive pulleys to capture contaminants.They are available in both flat and curved shapes and can be installed either above or at the discharge end of material flow.

Magnetic platesare extensively used in CTC Tea machinery and in Biscuit stacking machines. They are also used for separating trapped iron in industries such as:

High Strength Magnetic Plates with Strontium Ferrite Magnets / Rare Earth magnets can attract metal particles from thin layers of product conveyed on flat belts from distance of 6.

For Iron Removal, Magnetic Plates are generally located above the material flow attracting the iron particles. The Magnetic Separation Process involves the magnetic field penetrating the product flow and grabbing tramp iron as it passes by the Plate. The concentrated field holds tramp iron tightly to the magnet surface until removed during the cleaning process. For Separating of Ferromagnetic material like Tin/M.S. sheets and containers from conveyor belts, multiple Magnetic Plates at various locations are used. This prevents the falling off of sheets/containers back into the conveyor.

PML offers Rectangular as well as Round Magnetic chucks. They are built using high power Ceramic / Alnico V magnets. These are mainly used for surface grinding machines, tool & cutter grinders, spark erosion machines, etc. PMLs Chucks have strong magnetic grip to hold any ferrous material. The top metal plate is extra thick to ensure maximum accuracy after regrinding. Permanent Magnetic Chucks dont need power supply and hence do not cause any unexpected accident related to power failures. Since the Chucks dont need power supply, the cost of operation to the user reduces substantially.

Magnetic Sheet Floaters are great sheet handling tools. By using the Magnetic Sheet Floater, the users can easily separate one sheet from a stack of sheets without getting their hands dirty. Simply place the Magnetic Sheet Floater near the sheet stack and the Magnet will attract the top sheet, making the sheet toappear as it is slightly floating above the stack. This enables the user to get enough grip to hold the sheet.

This device will eliminate the pain of picking a sheet from a stack of sheets, no more sliding sheets around to find the perfect grip!

PML magnetic rods are world class when it comes to magnetic strengths and precision in dimensions. These rods are made up of magnets, which are fitted inside seam less drawn and heat treated SS 304 L tubes. The thickness of the tubes is optimized to obtain highest efficiency of the magnets inside.
