The FireLite InnovairFlex D355PL intelligent non-relay photo- electric duct smoke detector and DNRW watertight non-relay photoelectric duct smoke detector feature a pivoting housing that fits both square and rectangular footprints capable of mounting to a round or rectangular duct. DNRW duct smoke detector, with its NEMA-4 rating, is listed as a watertight, UV resistant enclosure providing protection against falling dirt, rain, and windblown dust, splashing and hose directed water, allowing operators to use the detector in the most extreme environments. These units sense smoke in the most challenging conditions, operating in airflow speeds of 100 to 4, 000 feet per minute, tem- peratures of -4 degrees F to 158 degrees F, and a humidity range of 0 to 95 percent (non-condensing.) An improved cover design isolates the sensor head, which allows for ease of maintenance. A cover tamper feature indi- cates a trouble signal for a removed or improperly installed sen- sor cover. The FireLite InnovairFlex housing provides a 3/4- inch conduit knockout and ample space to facilitate easy wiring and mounting of a relay module. The FireLite InnovairFlex duct smoke detector can be custom- ized to meet local codes and specifications without additional wiring. The new InnovairFlex product line is compatible with all previous Innovair models, including remote test accessories.

The DR/W range of door retainers offer new standards of performance and aesthetics for fire detection systems requiring electromagnetic fire door retainers. Each door retainer is fitted with a spring loaded release pin mounted centrally within the electromagnet. On power off, the release pin then ensures that the fire door is pushed away from the electromagntA replaceable fuse is fitted to each magnet, together with a spark quenching diode and protection against reverse polarity. All the electromagnets have been tested and comply with the latest requirements of EN61000-3-2 and EN5008-1. The new low profile housing results in an attractive and robust design. The detailed use of rubber seals coupled with moulding design has resulted in a high degree of protection against moisture ingress. Cable installation is via M20 knockouts in the base of the unit into terminal blocks, using cable up to 2.5mm2.

The NXS14 is a combined wall mounting sounder and xenon strobe contained within a single enclosure. It combines the technologies from both the NX and NS series to provide audible and visual indication. The acoustic efficiency and sound distribution generates a maximum of 103dBA (@ 1m, 24Vdc) through a wide angle giving good audibility in all directions. Thee combined units are especially suitable for applications in buildings where members of the general public congregate. The internal solid state electronics provide the user with a choice of either continuous or sweeping tones at a variety of frequencies and volume levels. 14 preconfigured sounder patterns/tones are available for selection. The NXS sounders can be integrated onto systems using other sounders or strobes from either the Morley-IAS portfolio or any other compatible systems.
