Synthetic Liquid Resin (SLR)

We offer synthetic liquid resin.Plasticizer dioctyle phthalate (dop) is world known and widely used in plastics such as pvc, pmma, poly cellulose nitrate, poly cellulose acetate and rubber compounding. It helps in swelling off green compound thus imparting better processability and flexibility to the end product. Slr is formed on the same theme. They are also phthalates formed by low molecular weight polyesters joined together. Their density which is between 1.10 to 1.15 is higher than that of dop (0.98 to 1.0). Their viscosity is also high and its variation is fast depending on the temperature of operation and ambient conditions while dop is a single component item, slr are multi-component system (primarily). due to their, this constitution look wise they are thick creams with low fluidity. Slr 300 is light brown to deep brown in colour while slr 500 is off white in colour. This is against dop the look of which is like semi-transparent thick oil. this feature of their (higher thickness & density) brings them nearer to molten rubber and plastics (vis a vis dop), which imparts them with better flexibility, gloss and thermodynamic properties making end product more weather resistant and longer lasting. Dose their dose in rubber & plastic compound is about 10% lesser than that of dop, this is due to presence of some higher glycols (polyols) which makes them slightly more attached to the green compound than dop alone. This also imparts chemical reactivity in gloss forming and longer span to the product. Their dose would need a close watch is initially as it would vary with the composition of green compound particularly the presence of inactive fillers in pvc dose would vary between 20 25% on ww basic and rubber dose between (5 7.5%). Conclusion they impart a better gloss and flexibility then dop to rubber and plastic goods. Durability of items produced by their use is longer.

Synthetic Tackifying Resin (Str)

We offer synthetic tackifying resin .These are based on theme of alkyds resins (polyester based) which are widely applicable in paint industries. They are highly tackifying by nature and are well compatible with rubbers & plastics (mainly pvc). Constitution wise they are esters of polybasic acids and polyhydrolic alcohols. Further they are oil modified which brings tack into them. properties being multi-component system they exhibit high viscosity and higher relative density which is approx. (1.14 + 0.1) str 300 are light brown to deep brown in colour while str 500 are light yellow to medium yellow (much like egg yolk). However property wise the two are similar. Their being multi-component helps them to obtain uniform tackiness into the entire mass of the polymer mix. This brings better processing and quality to the end product. dose there dose in case of rubber goods needs to be fixed on the basis of type of rubber reclaims to raw-rubber ratio and quantity of non-reinforcing fillers used. A dose higher to what is required would ooze out the resin from the mix and lower dose may fail to obtain required tackiness. Hence a careful dose fixing is required by judging its function during processing and the properties of the end products. Normally in general cases a dose of 4 6 phr would suffice. Dose of str should not be compared with those of wood rosin, c.i resin & petriaz resin, this is because constitution and action wise they are different. when it comes to pvc items no application of str when neat pvc resin is used, however when the blends of pure pvc with fillers and recycled pvc are employed the dose would vary between 5.0 to 8.0 wt. Basis depending upon the product mix. conclusion being thick liquids along with a uniform tackiness imparted to rubbers & plastic goods, these resins produce more glossy goods with a longer life span.
