A pre-dryer is rotary horizontal vessel with Limpet coil wound over shell. The specially designed agitator moves material forward and backward . The hot steam of temp 150° C is passed through Limpets and by heat transfer the material is dried. This type of dryers is generally used along with DDGS Drying system and is supplied in SS304 Grade of Material. The Pre dryer is available in size up to 7000 Ltrs Capacity.
A control panel to control the temperature and other parameters is fixed outside the dryer. These dryers are available in various capacity ranging from 80 Tray dryers, 96 Tray dryers, 160 tray dryer and 192 Tray dryers with material ranging from 320 kgs to 800kgs. Tray dryer is Used for Drying of Pigments & Chemicals. These are available in GMP & GEP standard with Grade of material of SS316 & SS304.
The drying in a rotary vacuum dryer is a batch operation under vacuum. Drying time depends on material being dried, amount of solvent or water to be removed, desired final moisture content, Limpet temperature etc. The dryer is available in sizes ranging up to 5000 Liters and is usually fabricated in ss304 0r 316 grade of material depending upon the application.
