The mixed concrete from concrete mixture is transferred into the concrete placer. The compressed air supply is to be provided to the concrete placer through hose pipe. As soon as the compressed air supply is started the concrete from placer begins transferring from placer to pipe line and finally it reaches the point of placement, normally metallic pipe line of diameter 4 or 6 are used. If required pipe line can be fitted with bend 30o, 45o, 60o as per site requirement. These units are available in two capacities 8m3/hour and 16m3/hour output. The machine can be equipped with mechanized loader system to enhance productivity. The unit is recommended for mass concreting inside tunnel, underground and other civil structures for placement of concrete at low height. Surfex have developed Portable Wet Shotcrete Machine for spraying wet concrete of required W/C ratio.The wet concrete is poured into the vibratory hopper of the machine, which flows into the through-going chambers of rotor and moves to the discharge outlet with rotor running, where it is blown to whirl stream implement by compressed air leaded by air pipe. Hence it is blown by scattering, accelerating, whirling and floating vortex stream and through conveying hose to the nozzle, where the required volume of liquid accelerator is added.
