Crystal gypsum is the crystaline form Calcium sulphate dihydrate.Crystal gypsum are perfectly intact with a glassy finish.They are formed in clay beds known as floater crystals.It is very flexible and soft(you can even bend if the layer is thin ).
Anhydrite and Gypsum has same chemical composition but the difference is the water of crystalisation present in the gypsum.Anhydrite is a good water absorbent.Crystal gypsum is transparent and with hardness of 2.
