Our Products
We are leaders in the market for providing best range of Barometer, Food Calorimeter, Continuous Flow Calorimeter, Barometer Aneroid and FRICTION CALORIMETER UNIT
A glass tube of 6mm bore is enclosed in an enameled and lacquered brass case, mounted on a polished wooden board with plates for fixing on wall. Open plate reflectors, ring and screws for vertical adjustments. A dual scale graduated in 25 to 32 inches and 640 to 810mm is read by verniers moving by rack and pinion, reading to 0.002 inch and 0.1mm are enclosed in a glass cylinder. A glass cistern at the lower end of barometer is provided with an ivory point to adjust the level of mercury. A thermometer -10 to 50 C is provided on the wooden board. Supplied without mercury and glass case.
It is used to determine the absolute heat of combustion offoods (calorific values). It may also used to find out relativevalues of heat of combustion of a series of foods bycomparing the rise of temperature of a fixed volume ofwater when a constant mass of a substance is burntcompletely. Apparatus Comprises of two assemblies:a) Calorimeter Unit b) Base UnitThe Calorimeter unit carries heat exchanger unit and baseunit has crucible holder, ignition system etc. etc. a) Calorimeter UnitComprises of a glass water jacket 150 x 80 mm (Ht x dia)surrounding a combustion chamber integral with it and openat its base. This combustion chamber is connected to acopper spiral heat transfer tube. The upper end of this tubepasses through a hole in the lid on top and when in use isconnected to a filter pump to draw the products ofcombustion through the copper spiral. A wire stirrer alsopasses through the cover and a hole with a bored rubberstopper is provided to accommodate a thermometer, Supplied complete with thermometer -5 to + 50 C x 0.10C(Mercury in glass)
b) Base UnitMetal disc about 100 mm dia with a boss for mounting on12mm retort rod (without rod). The unit works as the baseof the combustion chamber and has inlet tubule 6 mmdiameter for oxygen supply (oxygen supply is necessary tocompletely bum the food) and pair of pillars carrying lowvoltage igniter coil. Also having a moveable crucible supportto enable the crucible to raise to the level of igniter coilfrom outside the assembled apparatus Supplied withoutretort stand, crucible or spirit lamp.
Spare and AccessoriesSpare borosilicate glass calorimeter jacket(150 x 80mm, L x Dia) (HT-1536/1)Spare igniter coil pack of 5 PCS.(HT-1536/2)Nickel Crucible, one PC.(HT-1536/3)Retort stand & base: Tripod 'A' base with rod(HT-1536/4)Spirit lamp for volatile samples(HT-1536/5)Low Voltage Supply Unit 12 V: PI. see Power Supply Section.Oxygen Gas supply with regulator: To be obtained locally.
For electric equivalent of heat of liquids. A glass tube, 360mm long, containing manganin spiral heating element with screw terminal at each end, is connected to inlet and outlet cylindrical vessels, each having a tubule for thermometer. The inlet system has a long vertical vent tube to allow air bubbles in the incoming water to escape. Mounted on wooden base, but without constant level tank or thermometer.
Wall type in plastic/wooden case, fully enclosed, calibrated both in inches and millibars, fully air guided pattern, 100 mm coated dial reads from 28 to 32 inches i.e. 940 to 1040 millibars.
This unit consists of a metal cylinder with an integral V pulley in the base of the cylinder and a 6 mm diameter steel shaft fitting into a bearing block. The vertical pillar carries the cork lined friction arm and thermometer support. Supplied complete with driving belt, but without thermometer.
Good quality one piece spinning, rolled rim, polished finishvessel with wooden/bakelite lid fitted with rubber stopperand metal stirrer
This is a ventilated type hygrometer. It is particularly useful for measuring local differences in humidity. It comprises two thermometers - 5 to 50 C. Mounted in a wooden/plastic body. One thermometer has a wick dipped into water reservoir. Supplied complete with humidity chart, and carrying case.
