Dead Burnt Magnesite (DBM) is produced in a vertical shaft by sintering raw magnesite at a controlled high temperature. It is chemically inactive and extremely heat resistant. It is mainly used in the manufacture of basic refractories. These basic refractories are used by the iron & steel industry in electric arc furnaces and different kind of kilns for lining purpose. We provide various sizes of DBM as per consumer's specifications at a very competitive rate.
Raw magnesite is the naturally occurring carbonate of magnesium (mgco3), found in two different physical forms, crystalline (spathic) and cryptocrystalline (amorphous, compact). The magnesite is of cryptocrystalline nature, which is much purer than the crystalline form and usually off-white in colour due to silica content. With the finest quality minerals, we successfully cater to the requirements of several industries. Our professionals work in full swing to meet the assorted requirements of clients. With their support, we work on well-researched strategy and ensure timely delivery of consignments, customized solutions and easy payment options. This has helped us to garner trust of several clients all across the country.
Magnesium oxide is a traditional raw material for use in a wide range of products, e.g. Refractory, paints, paper, plastics, rubber, oil, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, animal feed, additive in superconductor products, waste treatment agent for neutralizing acids or cleaning water and as a catalyst material. Most commercial mgo powders are synthesized by the calcinations of forms of mg(oh)2, such as brucite or precipitate from sea water, and thermal decomposition of mgco3, such as magnesite. In such powders, the primary particles remain aggregated, usually in a shape similar to that of the precursor compound. The calcination at higher temperature destroys the agglomeration due to the propagation of cracks resulting in the formation of finely dispersed powders. Applications: abrasive (for grinding wheels, emerystones, millstones) stock feed cattle feed chemicals (magnesium salts) construction. (flooring, ceiling boards) electrical (insulating material) fertilizers (plant nutrient) fuel additive (neutralization) glass manufacture (decorative special purpose) leather tanning paper & pulp refractory (ceramicssteel industry) sugar refining (juice processing) waste water treatment
