Synthetic Diamond Powder is one of the hardest manmade abrasives used in variety of Lapping, grinding & polishing application.
Diamond pellet lap to clean up the generation marks and smooth the surface so that it can be polished. Typically the diamond pellet is 10 or 12 microns.
Micron powders are in well defined ranges of fine particles. The grade designation defines the micron size ranges of the abrasive particles. The shapes of the particles are blocky & hence it imparts efficient cutting properties with consistency in stock removals rates.

Cerium Pad is a polishing pad of special hard polyurethane foam containing a cerium oxide polishing agent. This pad features superior durability large versatility, stability in quality and capacity of quick polishing.

Polishing Pads cover the need of various types of materials to be polished. These pads are suitable for various rough and final polish operations to meet desired surface finish requirements. The pads impart desired surface finish when used in combination with suitable polishing media. Its napped structure helps to retain the polishing Media for a long time and facilitates to produce desired surface finishes. All pads are available with suitable adhesive backing with user friendly fixing and removal.

Diamond Paste consists of blocky diamond particles prepared in paste form to suit various applications. It imparts uniform cutting properties producing precision reflective surfaces of desired levels .
Diamond Paste are available from 70 micron particle size to sub micron sizes to suit variety of needs.

Die Polishing Paste is best suitable to achieve very high reflective polishing finish. The particles are very fine and blocky in shape. The particle distribution is very close which allows fine finish. It is non toxic, non hazardous and safe to use and can be manually used as well.

Lapping is a process, in which two surfaces are rubbed together with an abrasive between them. Lapping Paste is ideally suitable for hand lapping and polishing especially in intricate cavities where continuous feed of abrasive is not desired or not possible. The abrasive particles in the paste form are of blocky shape which helps in maximizing cutting efficiency and attain required finish.
Lapping paste are available in various micron sizes starting from 60 microns to 3 microns.
Lapping paste is available from various types of combinations of abrasives. The appropriate types as applicable are recommended based on the surface finish requirements & the parts to be lapped etc.

Lapping Oil is an important element of lapping process. its inherent suspension property facilitates to bring the fresh cutting edges on the lapping plate consistently. It assists the cutting function of abrasive grains and enhances the machinability. It forms the film on the lap plate holding abrasive in intact form during the lapping process as well. Lapping Oil is odorless, non toxic, non hazardous and harmless to the normal skin.

Compound suitable for polishing is packed in 200 ml pressurized can. It helps in micronised spraying on polish plate, when sprayed. This prevents drying of the polish plates during polishing.

Offers retaining rings for flat lapping/polishing machines. These rings are made from graded cast iron. While retaining the parts to be lapped, these rings help maintaining lap plate flatness during process by removing unevenness from the lap plates. Retaining rings are manufactured under stringent quality standards to ensure efficient end results. The rings are available in various standard sizes as well as are custom made to suit.

Polishing Compounds confine to chemo mechanical polishing action. These are with controlled PH values to suit various applications. It contents uniformly suspended abrasive particles in slurry form and are soluble in water for dilution and used for polishing process. Several types os polishing compounds are to suit the various requirements. All polishing compounds are non-toxic and non-hazardous.

Hand Lapping and polishing plates are high quality products. Its homogenous distribution of material improves degree of processing accuracy. Plates are available in various diameters, Groove patterns and materials such as CI, Aluminium, Tin, Lead, Copper, Glass etc. & are available for Lapping, Hard Polishing and Soft Polishing applications.

Monochromatic Check-lite measures the flatness of finished components in the range of 1 light band or 0.3 Micron with the help of speedfam optical flat. No skilled technician is required to measure the flatness accurately, using the speedfam monochromatic checklite. Its exceptional design prevents the penetration of extraneous multiwave Length Light from outside sources. It can be placed near the production operation.

Optical flats provide the fast, sure and accurate method of obtaining flatness measurement under Monochromatic Checklite. It is always necessary to have reflective, clean and dry surface of finished component before measuring its flatness. Flatness measurements are accomplished by reading interference (light) bands which appear on the surface of the work piece when placed under a Speedfam optical flat. Fringes appear when the flat is placed gently on work piece surface under Monochromatic Checklite. The optical flats are available in various diameters.
Optical flats are available in Borosilicate glass material with flatness accuracies as ?4, ?6, ?10. These are available either Single side or Double side surfaces. Sizes available are 1", 2", 3", 4", 5", 6", as standards and other sizes on request.

Span Guage is with 3 legs presettable on a master Surface Plate. A Dial in the centre measures the flatness at various positions.

Abrasive feeding system keeps the abrasive & vehicle mixture in homogeneous condition all the time to ensure optimum usage of abrasive particle in cutting process, which helps in imparting an efficient and uniform stock removal over a period of time. This also helps to reduce consumable cost & the cycle time & hence more output as compared to non recirculation type system. The stirrer in the system provides continuously stirring during & in between two cycles. The tank is equipped with the casters for easy movement of system for disposal.

This is unique product developed by speedfam in order to have contamination free lapping oil for reuse. It has one abrasive mixture collecting tank in which the used abrasive mixture is poured. The abrasive is separated by baffling & settling process. The clear oil is recepted thru the final chamber from which oil can be taken out for reuse. Viewing windows are provided on the system to varify the level of abrasive settled & necessity of cleaning.
