dryer drum

is designed for longer life. Proven flight design ensures a perfect distribution of material to be dried. Positive drive is provided by means of a ring gear, coupled to a pinion driven by an inverter-controlled geared motor. The drum is guided through two rolling steel rings on 4 rollers with bearings mounted on a sturdy main frame.

burner

our universal burners work with either diesel or heavy oil. Special heated adjustable cam is provided to regulate the flame length. A gate with control screw enables the flame to be enlarged or reduced.

batching tower

is fully automatic to offer the best guarantee in terms of product quality. The operator can choose all the required process parameters and all components of the tower will become automatically set to obtain the requested product. The main units of the tower such as elevator, screen, hot aggregate storage bins and mixer are designed for long life, low maintenance and reliability.

cold feed bins

plants are provided with abrasion resistant cold feed bins. Bins have self-relieving bottom opening, which eliminates bridging of the feeders. Each bin is provided with variable speed inverter drive through geared motor.

control unit

computerised controls are provided for burner, temperature, damper, emergency plant shut down, sequential start and stop, etc. The display shows production tph, aggregate tph, asphalt tph & mix temperature. Daily production datas can be printed out for records. All controls are mounted on a centralised control panel inside the control room.

bag house filter

bag house filters remove the dust from the dryer's exhaust and comply with the most severe environmental regulations. They are fitted with safety devices for temperature control and automatic counter-flow cleaning through main exhauster and complete system for recovery and re-use of filler.

bitumen tank

tanks are insulated with rock-wool, available in horizontal type and heated by thermal oil with automatic temperature adjustment. Suitable valves to control the charge, transfer and discharge of bitumen among tanks are provided.

Asphalt Drum Mixing Plants (as per US Specs) are being manufactured upto 120 TPH capacity, both in mobile and stationary version.

speedcrafts bitumen mixer is extremely compact and entirely self-contained plants, trailer mounted on 4 nos. Pneumatic wheels with drawbar and turntable to ensure easy towing. All controls are within easy reach of the operator.

feeder

a bucket elevator is provided to discharge aggregate into the drying cylinder through the feeding ring.

drying cylinder

drying cylinder discharges heated aggregate into the storage ring. It is supported on two roller tracks running on nos. Guide rollers driven by chain and sprocket wheel. Lifting flights are wear resistant and replaceable.

aggregate burner

fitted to the discharge end of the drying cylinder, with a fuel pump for feeding fuel and air blower for supplying air.

air blower

driven by the engine through a v-belt and is of suitable capacity for the burners provided.

storage ring

the discharge end of the drying cylinder is provided with a storage ring fitted with lifting buckets which discharge the hot aggregate into the batching chute.

batching chute

the batching chute has a fixed volume. Hot aggregate is discharged from chute to paddle mixer by a lever which opens the radial door for discharging the aggregate into the paddle mixer and simultaneously closes a deflector plate at the top of the chute to prevent any material being discharged into the chute while the radial door is open. A thermometer is supplied to register the temperature of the stones in the chute.

drum hoist

a wire rope hoist is provided with lifting frame for easy and convenient loading of bitumen from barrels nto the boiler.

bitumen supply system

an integral bitumen boiler and bitumen pump is provided for feeding bitumen into the calibrated bitumen bucket for discharge into the pug mill. The quantity of bitumen can be metered through a 3-way cock.

mixer

the aggregate and bitumen are mixed in a paddle mixer, fitted with two paddle shafts mounted with arms and tips which rotate in opposite directions. The shafts are gear driven and mounted on lubricated bearings. The paddle tips are replaceable and coated with special hard facing alloy to give them longer life in operation. This arrangement provides positive mixing and gives a homogenous mix, which is discharged through a door at the bottom operated by a lever.

chimney

chimney for drawing out the hot gases is provided which can be folded during transportation.

chassis

the whole unit is mounted on a strong chassis of welded and bolted construction with rolled and folded steel sections and provided with four pneumatic tyres. Four strong mechanical parking jacks are fitted.

dryer drum

the dryer is accurately fabricated to ensure proper heating of aggregates with minimum heat loss. It is supported on steel rollers through steel tyres with idlers and guide rollers and is provided with segmented driving sprocket.

four bin feeder

it is of single chassis construction. At each bin, a radial gate is provided which can be opened in any position to regulate the aggregate flow. Individual endless belts fitted with variable speed motors discharges material onto the gathering conveyor as per the mix design.

controls

a fully automatic control panel with feather touch controls are provided for controlling the quantity and quality of production with operator sitting in air-conditioned comfort.

all systems are completely synchronised with automatic / manual control of burners, load cell, mix temperature, cold feed, mineral, bitumen proportions, etc. Manual control is possible through over-ride system. Adequate safety measures are adopted to avoid overloading, shor t-circuit, etc.

vibratory screem

a single-deck vibratory screen is provided to remove oversize aggregate received from the four bin feeder.

multicyclone exhaust

the dust collection system consists of enclosed multiple cyclones, exhaust fan and chimney.

conveyors

a slinger conveyor is provided which receives aggregate from the four bin feeder and feeds it to the dryer drum.

loadout conveyor fitted with hydraulically operated hopper is provided at the discharge end of the dryer drum which feeds the hot mix material into tippers.

dryer burner

a fully automatic, high pressure, auto jet burner is mounted at one end of the drum.

flight design

the drying and mixing unit of the plant demands complex flight design. Specially designed flights lift and cascade the aggregate to reduce the final moisture content to 0.5% (by weight).

filler unit

fabricated from steel plates, it feeds the required quantity of mineral to the dryer drum.

asphalt (bitumen tank)

tank of 15/20 mt capacity is provided, fabricated from steel plates with 50 mm glasswool insulation, manhole, thermocouples, etc. Bitumen is pumped to the dryer drum through hot oil jacketed pipelines. Tanks are fitted with independent on-off type burners.

fuel tank

one tank of 2500 / 5000 / 10000 ltrs. Capacity is provided with each plant.

These are fully indigenous models of stationary and mobile plants upto 150 TPH capacity. Very well accepted both domestically and Internationally and have proved themselves in all tough situations.
