When using a normal PDU, it is possible that a short circuit in one device can shut down the complete rack or even the data center. This is not acceptable in critical applications
Also in shared data centers, there is a requirement to measure power consumption by individual server/router connected to each socket in the rack for the purpose of billing etc.
It is usually seen that out of the 24 or 12 batteries that make a battery bank, one or more batteries may become faulty. Due to fault in one battery out of a total of 24, the performance of the complete battery bank reduces and in many cases lead to reduced backup and insufficient charging of all the batteries. Our monitoring system offers the following salient features to overcome this problem:
By continuously monitoring the old battery banks you can identify the specific battery that needs replacement instead of stressing the whole battery bank.
For Enclosures, specially unmanned, the following parameters need to be monitored to ensure safety of the equipment in the enclosure. Our system monitors and intimates on the NMS:
These conditions, if unchecked can compromise the security of lacs worth of equipment in the shelter and more importantly will lead to break in service and hence dissatisfied customers.
Keeping the above in mind, we have developed a comprehensive solution that incorporates all the features in a single box that operates on 48V DC.
Our Fire Panel (Advanced Model) has following features:Following are the specifications of this Fire Alarm Panel:-

The details of our products are as under:
RACK MONITORING SOLUTIONS:This system monitors various parameters of a remote site and communicates the same to a central location using GSM (SMS) or TCP/IP. By using this system it is possible to monitor hundreds of sites at a central location without the need of manning the remote site. It is a common problem that many times due to Air Conditioning failure, mains failure etc the sites could fail. By the time the network administrator knows the problem, the site is already down.
Our system can be used to monitor various parameters as and when they happen. By using GSM technology it is possible to have an alternate route to communicate the information from the site to the central location. This is advantageous for critical sites because if while using TCP/IP, the main router/network equipment at a site goes down then there is no way to get information from the site.
The types of parameters that can be monitored are:
Spaceage manufactures Fire Alarm Panels for BTS shelters with one/two Smoke/Fire sensors, Temperature sensor, Intrusion sensor (Door Switch), Internal/External hooter, MCP, Reset switch etc. Advanced models also have LCD display, Digital Access code and programmable delays.
Arming in a loose sense is switching on the system and disarming is disabling (switching off) the system. These functions can be performed using a simple switch or by using a keypad in which the user is supposed to enter a password.
In advanced systems, this may be done by an (Radio Frequency) RF remote or an Infrared remote. In cost effective systems, this is done using a traditional key that operates an electric switch. Such key-based systems are convenient for use by all age groups and offers more flexibility in terms of increasing number of authorised users. Some of the systems also have a keypad in which the owner is supposed to enter the correct password to do any arming/disarming.
The infrared remote requires that the operator of remote be in visual line of sight of the receiver that is on the control panel, where as the Radio Frequency remote can operate the control panel from anywhere (as long as the receiver is in the range) In addition to arming / disarming the control can support many other functions which may not be available (or even desired) in every control panel.
The model consists of TWO lights that are connected to a single 48V DC input. The Light sensor is single. Both the lights switch ON and OFF at the same time. The SMPS is in-built inside the light base.
TWIN DOME 230V AC Model (SSSL-04TAC)The model consists of TWO lights that are connected to a single SMPS that is mounted in the shelter. The Light sensor is also connected to the SMPS outside the shelter. Both the lights switch ON and OFF at the same time. Features of each light are:
The glass break sensor senses the noise produced by the breaking of glass or when Glass is hit by a metallic object. The cracking noise made as glass is broken contains higher frequencies in addition to the audible sound. In a well designed glass breaking sensor, only the energy produced at such specific frequencies is used for triggering an alarm and in this way false alarms from normal sounds are ignored by the alarm triggering circuit.
Improved version uses advanced digital filtering technique to completely reject background noises below the cut-out frequency and advanced signal processing to detect fast attack signals, yet ignoring sounds that build up gradually with time such as approaching automobiles, aircraft or screeching brakes. This type of glass break detector has a detection range within 50' radius and therefore can cover more than one glass window as long as it is within range. The optimal mounting location for these detectors is in a corner approximately 1 inch from the widow frame. The reason for this is that the shock waves tend to concentrate in the corners of the window.
Almost every large UPS user has faced a situation where the UPS has shut down without warning leading to failure of critical equipment. This becomes specially critical in during unmanned hours.
We have developed a system that can send SMS / E-mail in case
Our 4 Channel DC Energy Meter comes with options of Shunt, Hall Effect Sensor, Split Core Hall Effect Sensor.
Allows following settings to be changed in a user friendly manner:
Spaceage manufactures simple and most effective lightening arresters incorporating the various findings from different studies. It is an established fact that for lightening arresters has to be effective, the surge produced by lightening should be earthed using a joint less conductor. That's why the copper strip/cable that is brought from the lightening arrester does not have joints. The joints are braised so that a good permanent electrical contact is established. But somehow many people overlook the fact that in some of the lightening arresters in the market, there are three joints. This is true for a typical 5 spike model that has a joint where the spike is screwed into the central dome, which in turn is screwed on to the central rod/pipe, which in turn is screwed to the base. These three joints will kill the effectiveness of the Lightening arrester.
Spaceage's arrester is a single rod that has a spike at one end and has an insulation arrangement at the other for mounting. No joints. In fact, most of the internationally available lightening arresters also have the same principle. And importantly, Spaceage arrester would typically cost one third as compared to other ineffective models.
The system is used to monitor environment for each rack or at Data Center level to pre-empt any problems that may arise due to variance in parameters like temperature, humidity, voltages, door open etc. Instead of Administrator going to each rack to collect the data, the same is consolidated by the system on a central server and presented in a Live Dashboard format.
The system is intelligent enough to monitor the parameters and also inform relevant people thru SMS when such an eventuality happens.
The system consists of three parts:
Monitoring Hardware A 19/21" rack mountable system that comes with all the sensors and intelligent Firmware with TCP/IP connectivity.
Server Software This consolidates information from almost unlimited number of 'Monitoring Hardware' at remote locations and present the same in a user friendly format.
Intimation solution This consists of a modem and software that sends SMS to relevant people whenever an event occurs

Ultrasonic motion detectors generate inaudible sound waves/patterns and recognize a disturbance in those patterns caused by an intruder. These are compact devices which make the installation simple. The ultrasonic transmitter transmits high frequency, inaudible sound waves into the protected area and the receiver picks up the energy reflected back to the unit by the walls, ceiling, floors and other fixed objects in the enclosed area. The received signal is processed and analyzed by the signal processor. An intruder moving into the protected area causes some waves to be reflected resulting in change of pattern and hence change in strength of signal received by Receiver. If there is no movement within the area of coverage, the signal strength remains unchanged. These changes causes the unit to detect the movement and sound the alarm.
While both ultrasonic and microwave use the same principle to detect motion, a microwave uses a much higher frequency and as a result it can detect motion through most walls & partitions. Motion Sensors generate signals in the range between 19 and 40 kilo hertz which is above the frequencies that a normal ear can hear. Ultrasonic energy is contained completely in the area it is operating. It will not penetrate walls or windows but is absorbed by carpet, curtains and false ceiling. Obstructions within a room will reflect the ultrasonic energy and distort its shape pattern.
Typical detection range of ultrasonic units is 20 feet wide by 30 feet long in a room with a ceiling up to 12 feet high. Ultrasonic detectors can be prone to false alarms due to excessive air currents and other extraneous ultrasonic noises. Proper application and installation of this equipment is very important. The ultrasonic units can be mounted on any plane, vertical or horizontal or in any location - ceilings, walls, corridors - projecting the ultrasonic pattern at any desired angle. These units provide volumetric space protection.
Spaceage is the pioneer in uniform intensity LED based Aviation Lights as per ICAO standards. We offer 24V DC/48V DC/230V AC, 10cd/33cd lights (Type A / Type B) lights with or without light/photo sensors/switch. We offer internal/external SMPS/Sensor.
LED Aviation Obstruction Light/LampOur distinguishing features are:We have many versions of Aviation Lights to suit every need. We offer following broad categories
These detectors use high frequency radio waves (micro waves) to detect movement. The micro wave energy will penetrate and pass through all building construction materials like wood, sheet rock, cinder block, plastic, glass and brick and is reflected by metal. Because microwave energy will penetrate, application and installation requires careful consideration. Microwave has much greater range than ultrasonic. Basically, such a detector emits high frequency waves that form a pattern after getting reflected or absorbed by different objects in the vicinity. If there is any movement in the vicinity then the pattern changes and the same is then used for Receiver unit to detect the intrusion. The Receiver, in turn gives input to the control panel to trigger the alarm.
