(2) TEMPERATURE : If the temperature rises above a preset AC ON point (Higher temperature limit) then the Genset is started. The Generator keeps in this position till the temperature goes down to AC OFF point (Lower temperature limit). However, due to this optimization, it may happen that the Batteries may get discharged. E.g. the Genset may not start for hours together in case of winters. So the equipment has built in logic based on battery voltage as follows: (3) BATTERY VOLTAGE : If the battery voltage goes below the CHARGE ON voltage then the Generator is switched ON. The Generator remains in the start position till the voltage goes above the CHARGE OFF voltage. This helps in minimizing the number of cycles the battery will get charged and also keep batteries healthy. In addition to above parameters, the use has the option to override the above values by specifying the Minimum Genset ON time.

Since the time, LED lights were introduced it was a challenge as to how to produce uniform intensity from directional LEDs, since the PCBs on which these are mounted are flat. Our engineers have come out with a solution, finally!! Due to the hard nature of PCB on which LEDs are mounted, most the lights in the market have 6 or 8 faces. Since the light from LEDs is directional in nature, the light from such aviation light is not uniform but is a set of 6 or 8 streaks. However, in case of Spaceage lights, the light pattern is uniform on account of the large number of LEDs and special base on which such LEDs are mounted that is perfectly curved. If Light intensity is plotted from the centre of the light (PLAN view), then the light pattern will be as follows: COMMON FEATURES Input Voltage Protection : LEDs are known to be very sensitive to input voltage. A change of even 0.1 V to the LED can effect the performance. If the voltage is low even marginally, the intensity of light reduces exponentially. However, if the voltage is higher even marginally the LEDs life is reduced dramatically. If continuous over voltage is applied the LED turns yellow and then brown with drastic reduction in emitted light. Most of times the LED based Aviation light performs well for few days but then give reduced intensity due to this problem. Most of the manufacturers specify a fixed voltage only for their products. However in real life the voltage changes due to charging surges. In telecom sector, where the voltage is 48V, it is usual to find voltages upto 54V when the batteries are getting charged. To over come this, we supply our light with a voltage regulator that can take voltages from 42V DC to 56V DC without affecting the LEDs in any way. Battery Bank Voltage Monitoring & Alert System

It is usually seen that out of the 24 or 12 batteries that make a battery bank, one or more batteries may become faulty. Due to fault in one battery out of a total of 24, the performance of the complete battery bank reduces and in many cases lead to reduced backup and insufficient charging of all the batteries. Our monitoring system offers the following salient features to overcome this problem :-

(1) Can monitor up to 24 individual batteries online.

(2) Monitoring is done for voltage on 24 x 7 basis.

(3) User can define low voltage level for individual batteries.

(4) If any of the battery voltage falls below the user defined limit then the system takes the following actions :

(a) Display the faulty battery no. on the display.

(b) Send an SMS to the user defined no./s (upto 4)

(c) Activate NO/NC contact which can be monitored through NMS.

(5) Battery low message is not repeated for the same battery. List of all batteries that are below the user defined limit are mentioned in same SMS

(6) System can work on 20V DC - 55V DC
